Chelsie is a Handler, Concierge, and Night Owl and has been with us for 4 months. She loves getting to be with the dogs every day and sharing moments with their parents; it warms her heart to see them happy. Watching the scared pups come in and walk out confidently after supporting them is an amazing feeling for her! And she considers her coworkers to be the best; they have helped her grow and answered all her questions.

Chelsie moved to Seattle from Louisiana four years ago and has been working with dogs for a long time, from a previous daycare/boarding facility to volunteering at a rescue. She's also a mom of two beautiful (human) boys and two (also very beautiful) cats. She also likes going to concerts and shows with her fiancé, seeing all the nature Washington has to offer, and relaxing with a good true crime podcast.

Bella is a Pack Leader and has been with us for almost two and a half years, first as a Handler and Concierge.

She loves spending time with DDL dogs and seeing how they gradually build trust in her because there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing their personalities grow as they become more comfortable. She also enjoys being around other people who treat dogs as their own.

Bella wants to finish school, become a veterinarian, and have her own practice and she has a Staffie named Egypt and two huskies named Jax and Rosie. Egypt enjoys going on hikes and taking trips to the beach, and you can usually find her and Bella at Golden Gardens or on various hikes around Seattle. Most importantly, they like cuddling under the covers in their PJs (yes, Egypt has her own pajamas).
