I still can’t believe we lost our Jimmy.
2 years ago today. Such an amazing beautiful boy.

Our sweet baby boy 💔

The post-mortem we requested has revealed that our Jim Bobbly Boo had non-infectious peritonitis.
There were no obvious signs of infection or bacteria/parasites.
All his organs were perfectly fine.
There were no tumours.

Ascites is normally caused by a blockage, there was no blockage. They couldn’t even find the perforation, it was tiny.

I started to question, as I do…the vet said ‘Clare stop, it is a cruel, unjust and freak occurrence that’s happened. There was absolutely nothing you nor we could have done, at anytime’
She’s right, I know she’s right.

It doesn’t make it any easier for us, but I/we needed to know in order for us to process it all. He was far too beautiful to cross over so young. 💔

We have a gaping hole in our hearts, I’m not sure it will ever close.
He is the reason for it all, his eyes are the reason my Butterfly is blue 💔
Please, hug your babies a little tighter for us tonight. They are so precious ❤️

Thor has a new friend to play with.
We would like to welcome Sully to our Smexy gang. He is a 10 week old Blue Tri Merle Border Collie.
They have been playing in this box for ages.

I can’t believe that it has been a whole year. We are still processing this loss and miss him dearly. He had many fascinating adventures and was loved the world over. There will never be another Jimmy.
