Ladies & Gentlemen we are happy to announce it is time for the Good Ole Laurel Hill Fire Dept. BBQ.
On October 19th the grills will bust open, and that wonderful meat will be pulled off.

We are currently taking pre-orders for anyone that wants to order it by the pound. The price this year is $8 per pound, and $8 per plate. We will also have our sauce for sale this year for $3 per bottle while supplies last.

Anyone that would like to place their order for by the pound please message us your totals so we can get them on the list this week.

Carolina Horse Park is open for evacuees in the path of Hurricane Helene. Please call 910-875-2074 for questions or to make arrangements for your arrival.

- $10 per stall (This includes one (1) bag of shavings and covers the stall cleaning/stripping once the horse has left CHP)
- Please bring food, shavings and supplies for at least 3 days. As long as weather permits, local feed stores and tack stores are nearby.
- Plan/map out your trip to ensure clear and safe roadways before traveling
- No riding or using rings, hand walking only
- RV hook-ups are available for $10 per night

Have an emergency plan. Know where you would go if you need to evacuate, especially if you live in a flood prone area. Gather emergency supplies or refresh your emergency kit. Visit ReadyNC.gov for info on how to build an emergency kit. Never drive through flooded roadways or around barricades. Turn around. Don't drown. Make sure you know where to seek shelter if a tornado warning is issued for your area. Check to see if your local emergency management office offers emergency alert services for its residents. You can visit your county government website for more information. Avoid unnecessary travel. If you do not need to drive, stay home. You can find current roadway conditions by visiting DriveNC.Gov.

Thank you Tori Miller McLeod 4Hooves Large Animal Services for introducing me to your mats! This thing is awesome!! Not only did horses stand so much better for me while I worked on their feet but it also helped my back! I trimmed 11 horses yesterday on this mat and my back is thanking me!! Some horses even need a twitch to get their feet done due to older age and mobility issues but with this mat we did not have to use a twitch!

I highly recomend! They are even great in horse trailers and they are super light weight!
