Overland Retrievers is a recently established dog training service provider that is focused on providing quality training in a safe environment. We utilize proven and tried methods to harness your dog’s potential whether it is in a home environment, on a dove field or in a duck blind. vers. He earned an Animal Science degree from Texas A and M University-Kingsville and has been training dogs since 1996. He was mentored by the late Ed Wetherbee in gun dog training and assisted in training over 200 dogs. He has actively participated in hunt tests and is an avid hunter, taking extreme pride in producing the best training available to enhance an individual dog's abilities. Richard served over 20 years in the United States Marine Corps as an attack helicopter pilot and recently retired from the active service. He has served as an instructor pilot and academic instructor at the highest level of training. He currently resides in Pensacola, Florida and trains dogs in Northwest Florida and Southern Alabama.
