About Me...

Hello! My name is Melanie and I'm the owner of Safe Hands Pet Care. My lifelong passion for animals has led me to pursue my dream of owning and running my own pet care business.

I have a wealth of experience with a variety of pets from a very young age at home and my family have always owned pets including dogs, cats, budgies, rabbits, guinea pigs and one of the more exotic animals, a lizard. More recently I have been the proud owner of two lovely cats and have provided a temporary home for rescue cats and pets of my friends and colleagues when they have been on holiday.

I have recently studied and passed my examinations to complete the National Association of Registered Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers business course (NARPS) and am now registered with them. I have spent over a year volunteering as a dog walker at my local kennels, and am used to dogs of all shapes and size. I have also undertaken training in general animal welfare.

Based on the Wirral, Safe Hands Pet Care is fully insured and I am DBS checked. I am a very caring and approachable person and am always happy to talk to you about you and your pets requirements.
