Our Story

Our family has made all natural, non-processed, so-good-humans-can-eat-it dog foods at home for over 20 years. We use human-grade proteins and vegetables - the same exact stuff we eat ourselves. Our products are made without animal by-products, synthetic ingredients or fillers. And what we can - we source locally. Lola and Baxter, our German shepherd mix and shiatsu duo, have great ener

gy, shiny coats, strong nails, healthy eyes, less hip and joint issues for Lola and nearly zero asthma for Baxter. Most importantly, we have less visits to the vet. Recently, our vet took notice of our pups health and suggested we share our food to other pups under her care. That's when we realized the health benefits experienced by our pups could (and should) be shared with the dogs of the world. This is the purpose of Lola & Baxter – to provide your furry family with the best food, conveniently and consistently. This is our promise to you. So what’s the big woof about Lola & Baxter? 🐾Macho's Mom asked a good question after she realized he is going to need @lolaandbaxter in his life, "How do you know how much to feed?" 🤔 • We recommend introducing the diet slowly, as you would when you change your dog's diet to help with a smooth transition on their digestive system. 🌱 • Start with a spoonful of Lola & Baxter or substitute 25% on top of their current food. Every three days, you can incorporate 25% more Lola & Baxter food, until your pooch is on a full diet and loving it! 🤗 • While Macho is about 8-10 pounds, he would enjoy roughly 3 pounds of Lola & Baxter food a week on a full diet. 🐶

Petite and Besou, two 8 year old Bichon sisters who experience occasional hot spots. After a long, nonstop week(end), we all feel like little Harvey here 😴 #pooped 💩...but for real, how cute is he?? 😻

😻Kitty Update: Just yesterday the babies started standing and trying to wobble walk. Dixie is taking a liking to her new itty bitty friends, which is surprising since she typically likes cats for breakfast 😧🍳. She knows that they need shelter and nurturing, and she's been so gentle. Today I took them to the amazing @catvetclinic where Dr. Nancy examined them and read a clean bill of health! They are miracles! Each weigh 10oz and we are estimating they were 7-10 days old when they were found. Annnnnd... they're BOYS! 🤗 🐾 If you have the means, time, passion and patience, fostering is an extremely rewarding way to give back during this time. It is such a moving experience to help these babies survive. We will make it through this storm. ✊️#hurricaneharvey (and Exxon)
