Thoughts For Today:

I'm a serial entrepreneur. Sometimes things work out and sometimes they don't. Trends, preferences and market changes affect what happens, and as a business owner you don't have any control over those outside factors.

One business that I had gotten into was selling various products on Amazon. It is a gigantic opportunity to sell on Amazon. Almost everyone I know orders something on that platform. It is definitely a great place to do business.

I tried researching and doing all those type adjustments myself, but it was time consuming and I always seemed to be one to two steps behind what the Pros were doing that worked.

Our main customers are Animal Rescue Organizations. They buy the tags for ONLY $1.00 EACH.

The Rescues that order from us get the tags with their rescue name and contact phone number on the tags. If the pet runs off, then someone can call them.

Usually they give the tag to whoever adopts the pet and many times it comes in handy because a person that finds the pet can call the rescue for help. And sometimes people don't run right out and get a new tag with their personal information.

I have heard THOUSANDS of stories from people that run Rescues about how our tags have helped get a pet returned safely.

As for microchips, they are wonderful. Yet the average person that comes across a lost pet does not have a microchip reader. That person can look at the Pet I.D. Tag and call the number on the tag immediately.

ChiliDogTags.com will be launching a new website for Animal Rescue Groups to order a personalized I.D. tag for each pet that is adopted.

The idea here is to make sure the new pet owner gets a tag with their contact information on the tag. As pets are not going to know where they are in their new homes and may wander off.

Here's the thing as well...

The FRONT of the tag will have the Animal Rescue Groups name and contact information on it. The BACK of the tag will have the new pet owners contact information.

This way we have doubled the ways for someone that finds a lost pet to get them back to safe hands.

Yesterday, I adopted the oldest, sickest, and most broken dog at the shelter. I’ll never forget the look in his eyes. When I stepped into his cage, he didn’t even glance up—he was so used to being overlooked. Curled up in the corner, he had already accepted his fate. The volunteer kept asking me, “Are you sure about this one? Are you sure?” Without hesitation, I said, “YES! This is my dog.” As the cage opened, three other animals tumbled out, but I went straight to him. Suddenly, he looked up at me as if he were seeing an angel. I wrapped him in my arms and whispered, “You’re going to be happy again.” He fell asleep in my lap—probably the first peaceful sleep he’d ever known.

Give them a chance. Give them love. They need us.
