Monday 10.30.23 update~

Freya is home now, but she was rushed to the ER again last night.

She was bright eyed and happy in the morning, eating very well, BM's were solid, and her stomach even shrunk by 1 inch! She did spend most of the day resting, but the whole pack does anytime it rains.

She was eager to go outside and was all about getting love 💕. Around 6pm, she laid down to drink water and when she tried to stand up, her left leg wouldn't work well.

She was still trying to walk but that leg wasn't cooperating. We were terrified and rushed her to the ER and she was observed for over 6 hours. They did diagnostics, a flash ultrasound, and found that her albumin is a bit higher, still very low. Her WBC count was elevated along with her lactate. There was sorry for possible clotting so she is on another medication.

Since she was so stable, they let us bring her home and she was so happy~ bright eyed and bushy tailed.

She is still not close to 100% but it's just good to have her home.

The vets said her time is limited~ but we are begging and hoping the universe gives us all so much more time.

She has more lab work for Friday and we hope that things progress until then and that labs indicate everything is helping.

🫰🏼Please gift her the strength, energy, healing power...

We have so many more adventures to gift you sweet girl, we are fighting this right by your side, we aren't going anywhere.

Sunday Freya update~

Freya is doing a bit better. She's no longer panting, her breath has settled, and she even felt good enough to pull me (mahm) on our walk.

We are taking measurements of her belly in multiple several places, multiple times a day to track data in and distention. Her medication response is also being tracked (mahm is a womyn's health and wellness coach/expert, data is power).

She slept well through the night and woke up bright eyed and eager to eat. She is still resting and taking it easy, and we are all desperate for her to continue improving.

Each day she is stable is a win, it gives us more hope. We are hesitant to be too excited because...because. I made her an amethyst necklace for healing.

But please, keep thinking of her, please pray for her, please send her energy and strength.

It all helps, all the good energy puring into her throughout the universe helps.

We will post daily updates here.

Xx

It's been a while, but it's time for an update.

A few days ago, Freya was walking a bit slower on her walks and was breathing heavy...something in my gut just didn't feel right about it, and thank goddess we got her into the vet as fast as we did.

She was rushed to the ER after that appointment and then was hospitalized for two nights due to being in critical condition. She got an ultrasound and X-rays done and findings indicate a possibility of gi cancer, though we can't rule out inflammatory diseases or PLE.

Her BP was low and her body isn't absorbing protein, surgery would be required to get a true diagnosis but the risks were too high so we are treating her empirically with steroids, medication, dietary changes, and prescription food.

She's home now and being monitored, but her situation remains critical.

She will be getting blood work done in the next 1-2 weeks to see how she is improving, each day she is stable is a win.

We are really hoping this isn't cancer...
We are all very scared but also hopeful,

Please send our Freya so much love and strength 💜

And if you ever feel like something is off with your fur baby, act on it...don't wait.

Xoxo

Today, I'm getting surgery to remove the lump/tumor in my throat. After surgery, the lump will be sent to the labs to determine whether I am dealing with carcinoma and how aggressive it may be.

Please send me good vibes and love 💕
