Unicorn Fields Farm Family owned and operated Horse Boarding Farm in Gainesville, FL Students are very welcome. We also offer boarding for goats and mini cows.

Please message us through this page if you are interested in possibly boarding your horse with us . Not accepting warmbloods or drafts and must get along well with a herd , No shoes , pasture board only. We are a family owned and operated farm located in northwest Gainesville near Jonesville, 8 minutes from Santa Fe and 20 minutes from UF. Boarders at the farm ride in a variety of disciplines, fr

om western pleasure, trail, dressage and jumping. We also offer board for horses with heaves and anhidrosis and are very experienced in the care of both of these conditions . Mini horses are also always welcome , we own 2 and have boarded several others in the past. Horses have continuous access to grass and/or hay rolls during winter months . We customize feeding for the needs of each individual horse. We feed Seminole and Purina Feeds ( Senior, Equalizer/ Balancer, Safe and Lite ) and also feed any supplements provided by the owner. Owners have the option of supplying their own specialty feed. Horses are separated during feeding to reduce conflict and to make sure horses eat their own food. There are 4 stalls available for short term emergency care . We have a large, lighted riding arena, a 60' round pen, and concrete wash racks . We have 36 acres to ride on between 2 properties and the farm is on a quiet, rider-friendly road. There are excellent trails near the farm and the 80 acre Saarinen Preserve is only minutes from the farm. We have a spacious tack room with space for Boarders' tack and supplies, a changing area, bathroom , and a comfortable lunch space with refrigerator and microwave. Bottled water and other beverages are provided and complimentary. Fee for standard board is $350.00 per month and this covers feed ( once a day ) and Tifton hay during the winter months . Owners are responsible for providing any supplements . Special needs board - decided case by case, rates to be determined based on the needs of your horse. We will give your horse the same loving care we give our own. The owners live on the farm and horses are checked on at regular intervals during the day . Vet and Boarder references are available. Leasing options available for intermediate riders ( must be at least 18 years of age, onsite lease horses only ) . Trainers are welcome to give private or group lessons utilizing our arena .

Horse Boarding info ( 2021)

We will have * one opening * available Feb. 1, 2021 . NO TBs or drafts and must get along well with a herd , No shoes , pasture board only. All board applicants must supply 2 references. We are located on the west side of Gainesville near Jonesville, 8 minutes from Santa Fe and 15 minutes from UF. Boarders at the farm ride in a variety of disciplines, from western pleasure, trail, dressage and jumping. Students are very welcome. We also offer board for horses with heaves and anhidrosis and are very experienced in the care of both of these conditions . Mini horses are also always welcome , we own 2 and an additional 2 board with us. We also offer boarding for goats. Horses have continuous access to grass and/or hay rolls. We have a spacious tack room with space for Boarders' tack and supplies, a changing area, bathroom , and a comfortable lunch space with refrigerator and microwave. Owners are responsible for providing any supplements . We will give your horse the same loving care we give our own. Leasing options available for intermediate riders ( must be at least 18 years of age, onsite lease horses only ) .

Group and individual lessons are available weekly with a trainer ( Beth Cannon ).

* Not accepting Draft horses, warmbloods or thoroughbreds at this time and barefoot only ( no shoes ) *
