For those who know me well, you know I like to do all different things with our ponies from liberty to hacking around to tricks to obstacles to trail riding. With Lilly, trail riding has been our biggest challenge. Today we decided to tackle it. Was it perfect, no. She was a little nervous and spooked twice but she did really well. I consider it a big step in the right direction and a success.
We had a wonderful day at Coyote Crossing in Bedford, Va. Lilly's favorite obstacle ended up being the water. She wanted to go through it several times. Vino wasn't as impressed by it but he still did a great job going in.
We had a great time hiking today. Lilly was relaxed and really enjoyed herself.
