Mary needs an immediate foster. She is great with all people, dogs and cats! But she is clearly a bird dog and has now caused the death of two of our birds. One chicken died of sheer fright and stress two days ago after she continuously stalked their pen, despite the fact that they are safe inside it this Bird finally got stressed enough to jump at the pen wall defensively before laying down and dropping dead before our eyes. And today she jumped 2 fences to get to our single duck Daffy, the very best friend of our piggy who has been here since he was three days old and was five…. On my daughter’s birthday before her eyes.
I don’t hold it against her. She’s a great dog with Loving energy, but her insistent nature to kill our birds is really unfair… and extremely traumatizing to my family members who have now lost two personal pets in a week. I put myself on the line to go save these animals and I have gotten zero Foster offers… it took me a year to find Fosters for pecan and Reese and I simply cannot do that again. She needs coverage in a home without chickens, ducks, or birds… and she will do perfect and thrive. Give her a couch and a fenced in yard ideally to enjoy herself until adoption…. she is a highly adoptable dog and should have a home sooner than later! Please help me help these animals. I can’t do it alone.
We desperately need dog food! Our first choice is diamond naturals or something similar- purina dog chow is great too! Any thing you can do to help us support these pets waiting for adoption! Especially those like pecannandnreese who we’ve been rehabbing over a year! Reese wouldn’t let us touch her for months…. Now she connected with new volunteer in 4 days. Pecan tolerated 4 teens in the yard and didn’t bark the whole time! It’s crazy to see their progress but having the
Reduces the number of kennels we can save lives in so we need help to keep things running smoothly! We can’t do this without you!
Our typical agway run is tomorrow and will cost a couple hundred! Who can help us feed our critters!! We can’t do this alone! Please help

We raised just about $1000 in the end of January and even received an extra donation by mail from Toronto’s adopter bringing in another $240!
We really need to raise $15000 to so we have a $13,760 goal. This includes thousands of dollars in vaccinations, spays, sick care treatments, utilities, supplies. In the grand scheme of rescue this balance is not astronomical but to me it is and I need my communities support to continue reaching and providing sanctuary care to pets in need. $390 was our bill just this Wednesday at the vet which added to our totals. Honestly we need to bring in $2500-$5000 a month to operate comfortably. I’m really hoping we can find some regular sponsors to donate monthly to our operational costs. I have finished training at my new job and will be working to cover this balance. I’m doing everything I can and I need your help. The pandemic cost us a lot of fundraising opportunities that we had counted on and we can’t recover with out new supporters. So please share and donate!
Junior had a great vet visit and the Dr.P validated my evaluations of juniors needs. He has plenty of time left! His eye is now blind and if any further symptoms arise we would treat them at that time accordingly. Until that time he’s in great condition for his age and he’s heading to be fostered with my good friend and her dog Olive!
Help us provide care to dogs turned away from other organizations like Junior. He will be safe with us until adopted or more likely at 15 until he lets us know his time is here. Hopefully we get a few years with him because he is special and his life matters. With your support we can make a difference in the lives of pets and people furever.
My February goal for donations is $5000

Jade is hoping for a holiday miracle so she doesn’t end up in the cold. She’s a very good girl and does well with other dogs. She’s about 4 years old and has been with a family but has a habit of getting out of the crate. She a little American pit mix and about 30-40 lbs. we tried to offer suggestions and to get a better crate donated but jades options right now are to move outside or be rehomed. So we are searching for a foster and adopter for this sweet playful girl. We are hoping a great family will see all she has to offer and give her a second chance at a life where she’ll be treated like family and feel secure in her home! Can you help her?

Not one local foster offer for Legolas! How! Once again I’ve overextended myself to help someone in need and can’t find one family to jump n and give a hand. Legolas is dog friendly, cat friendly, kids friendly, and well behaviors inside. He’s having a little anxiety which is expected when a dog changes homes after 3 years so he’s a bit restless but that’s it! He’s such a good boy and needs a place to decompress and get ready for adoption. Here’s his first dog meet! Look at this happy boy go!

I don’t know, seems like a certified good boy to me! Who is looking for a sweet boy? He’s looking for you!! Loves kisses and affection, doesn’t get on furniture, housebroken, good in car and on leash, and while he can be a little nervous in a new situation he is a very happy trainable boy!
My number one motivation to keep going…. Is seeing these souls living in the real world…with the family they always deserved!
3 more donations today! This is great! Thank you for your kindness! Let’s keep this momentum going!! Zook is feeling like himself today!! We also had an incredibly generous donation from a special individual we met out at a community event years ago. We are so grateful to you! To those who have sent me a little notes, letting me know how you remembered me or how I touched your life. Thank you for reminding me I am not in this alone! My work matters to YOU! Thank you. ❤️
