Please share 🥰🎄
As an act of kindness this year we will be helping a Veteran in the community feel the Christmas spirit with some needed items. All donations are tax deductible. Furever Yours Rescue frequently crosses over from touching animals to people and operates numerous homeless out reach missions. We’ve already begun collecting sleeping bags to hand out before the year closes. But this year our President happened to encounter in her personal like an 85 yr old Veteran in need of Christmas cheer. He is not homeless but after he served this country he is now living a lonely life facing the struggles and challenges that come with senior years largely alone. She wanted to get him a few items and upon reaching out to the community pages the sensible suggestion to make an Amazon wishlist was commented. So here we are! Let’s bring Christmas to an endearing man who teared up when he saw her Christmas tree this year but has nobody to put something under one for him. we’ve placed suggested items -things we know he needs or think he’d like- but send anything you think a golf playing, wine drinking, comedy loving spicy senior would enjoy. And items that would modernize and make more comfortable his living space as a senior. With the help of FYR your donations will be tax deductable and his identity protected. since this gesture is a surprise we want to be considerate of his privacy- but with a little tact and luck this year he will find himself experiencing an unexpected holiday miracle thanks to the community he loves!

Part of the reason I am slowing to a stop is people like this woman. She attacked me and everybody else she encountered on a post she made in a community page about a local
Worker and his dogs. I didn’t attack or insult her I just suggested a public witch hunt wasn’t the way and she should take her concerns to the township . She then privately messaged me a full video which shows her berating the worker who says nothing but sorry and walks away. I can’t respond to reviews on google but for the record this is our exchange. I guess I could have been nicer🤷‍♀️ yes I did forget to get one of my dog there rabies shot by a month or two oopsis- out of 8 years and over 1000 dogs I missed 1 and they improperly marked one that they missed the paper for while forcing my child to run the inspection😝🤪, and “improper kennel records” literally means I didn’t write redundant info on a single piece of paper. It is not indicative of poor care or anything I’m ashamed or. I’m tired. I wrote a comment on a community page as an individual that had nothing to do with this rescue and some woman tracks down my rescue to disparage it. On brand with everything she was out to do that dog so no surprise. But just a little window into the endless pressure and critism.

Moving forward it is going to be adoption updates and therapy team visits and sanctuary animal fun bc I’m done with the endless nonsense. All our adoptables are out. I’ll be closing the license which just means we won’t adopt out any more then 25 dogs a year. It’s not the end it just an evolution…. To a more peaceful path🥰

Several years ago I rehomed Luna from an overwhelmed family who could not stop her adventurous nature from leading her to take solo hikes around the neighborhood to a wonderful husky experienced active couple looking for a second howler …. She’s been the best dressed diva in town ever since and far to spoiled to find any time for mischief these days🥰

A happy little update. Three years ago I saved a plain forgotten little grey pitty at ACCT Philly. A simple silly energetic little lady that no one wanted I called Fusilli. Then I met an awesome energetic and super sweet friendly guy who thought was perfect for her. Just a simple guy looking for a best bud. They made a perfect pair but had lots of love to give and over the years decided to expand their family. This week Lady P met her very own baby sister and the look on her face says it all! She couldn’t be more proud and neither could I! This girl has blossomed into a perfect family dog as I knew she would! From unwanted to irreplaceable this little angel is the model for pitbull love and hope for shelter dogs that just need a second chance at forever! Congrats to this beautiful family- watching my young adopters grow with our pets is one of my greatest joys and I’m grateful they let me share these moments with all of you!

Warning! Be cautious where you donate this holiday season!
If you like to volunteer please make sure you do so for a NON PROFIT! Would you volunteer for Walmart? Would you volunteer for a dog breeder? How about a sheep and camel breeder? Visiting a farm to see unique animals is fine- we love to visit Speranza for a similar rescue experience- even paying for the excitement like you can pay to visit here locally! In fact at this location You can also pay for craft workshops. Goat walks. Pay for camping. Pay to have your birthday party. Pay for yoga. Pay to pet. Pay to Feed. Pay to be a little farmer. They have activities you can pay to experience 7 days a week. What’s really unique about it is they also ask groups and individuals to come volunteer. Yes volunteer doing everything from feeding, tend to animals, spread the stone, and even decorate, they even had kids come to set up the new glamping area you can now rent an evening in- don’t worry glamping booking fee does include perks like gettting to do “general care” like a barn clean out, hay/water, animal feeding and gardening- for an additional cost you can also do baby animal cuddling😒. They also have wish lists for all the animal and volunteer supply needs. Everything from from drinks to farm tools and blenders. And straight up gift cards to tractor supply. This holiday season please make sure your donations and time go to genuine rescue missions and non profit initiatives. Those of us doing all this for the love of animals really need your support more then the groups bringing in lots of profits they could be investing into their own programs! This is a for profit business breeding animals and collecting donations for their care. Over 15,000 publically collected in one gofund me alone. And that all goes into private use with no accountability b cause they are not a non profit. Please be aware. And don’t support breeders with donations.

I look crazed but that right there is the pure excitement of giving to others!! I have begun my seasonal push for donations for the homeless- people and pets! Sleeping bags are my primary focus all November and December so please if you have an extra $25 consider grabbing one on the upcoming Black Friday sale. I usually get bags rated for zero degrees at least half off making it an incredible time to give! Maybe you have a used bag collecting dust or want an excuse to upgrade. These folks are COLD and grateful for anything you can give. Please help me help others and share in my joy of giving!!

Desperate holiday Plea! SHARE
Tala and Juniper need a Holiday Hero!!!

I need help. I have ZERO Fosters I have been doing this by myself for years and the truth is I don’t have the capacity or time to take in any more adult large dogs. I never took a paycheck, I do this because I love it, I currently work two additional jobs to support the cost of the pets we have. I have saved over a thousand dogs with my own hands and it has been a huge gift and an even bigger responsibility. The one thing I have always been the most proud of is my donations back to the community and permanent placements. That almost all my placements are right on the first try and that I have had only a couple dozen maybe returns through all the years. I’ve always been able to take the dogs back or move them quickly to the next adopter in the cases where it happened for any reason….. until recently.
We had Molly Boo reposted for months on end and asked for a foster. Crickets. No interested adopters on a practically free dog with no real behavioral issues and friendly all around. Eventually the family resorted to working with different organization for rehoming with my heartfelt support and frankly embarrassment that I couldn’t do more- several years after their adoption. We also have Platinum 2.5 years old still living with his adoptive family, working with our trainer, training offered with adoption for behavioral concern, and not one application for 8 months. I’m sad that I can’t just magically care for 20 plus dogs 24/7 as a single person and raise a child as a single mom with no child support and no regular capable volunteers or funding but I accept and have always known my own limits. And I reached mine.

Now i have been contacted again by a family who adopted 2 dogs from us several years ago. Puppies in 2020 and 2021. Super nice people that I genuinely like and know gave a fabulous home to the pups so far. They need a new home by Sunday. They are great family dogs that are friendly, raised with babies and great with kids, raised with cats, never had dog issues with light interactions over the years. These are fabulous even tempered dogs and the family fell on bad times and have left a very short window to help. It’s hard to let go when everything is falling apart. It’s hard to ask for help -that’s why I lead by example with no fear of my ego being bruised.

So I’m willing to be criticized, again, and humbled that I’m not some rescue angel sent from god with endless perfect answers and resources. In fact I’m just one person doing my best and the only way I can help these girls that I love. That I saved. That I raised. That I want stay together and have a happy ending. Is for someone to step up and help them. I can’t do it myself. They are fully vetted and healthy. There is nothing about these girls that would make any rescuer not want them. Tala was 6 months at adoption and is now 4 Juniper was a younger pup and now is 3. So if another group is willing I’m happy to approve a transfer. I someone can take one we can try a separation. And hope for two willing people. I just want them safe and loved in a stable family like they had their whole lives till now.

Please please please can one person be willing to open their home and give their heart to these girls for the holidays Tala and Juniper need a miracle.

Looking for an immediate foster, foster to adopt or ready adopter for this really sweet guy I’m trying to help a community memeber with. 4 months old and ready for family life. Zero is a very sweet dog with a lot of energy. They’ve seen him play well with other dogs. I just think the family underestimated the time commitment and don't have a fenced in yard to help him with his energy levels. He is still young and trainable so I am hoping to get him into a foster home so he has a chance to find the right family as he is really a great pup and perfect age to move now! Im grateful this family to recognize that his best chance for rehoming is NOW … so now negativity only helping this pup get HOME!

We remember Eliza on this day and remind our followers to be kind and encouraging to each other and yourselves. We are all special. We are all someone’s very important person. We are. And we can all feel insignificant, burdensome, confused, heartbroken, and a million other emotions that can seem unsurmountable in moments and sometimes for long times. Existence is difficult and we truly are here to be with each other trying to to make this rough thing just a little easier a little more bearable through connection and with animals and hopefully we can each evolve to see ourselves with more clarity and understanding and acceptance of ourselves. I hope that in the grief of those we lose we also inspire some hope in another struggling to hold on.
