It is with much sadness we inform all of Buddy's followers that Buddy left us yesterday to join his old friends Poppy & Jessie in the big kennel in the sky. Buddy was the perfect brother to our children, Brandon and Eve, and they couldn't have picked a more apt name for him 15.5 years ago. He was our unconditional companion, protector, and family member. He made friends with everyone he met, and people would stop us in the street to pat and talk to him. We loved some of his OCD traits such as his obsession with retrieving tennis balls, he would literally bring the ball back to the thrower for hours, and how he would always insist on taking his lead in his mouth when we left our apartment but only as far as the lift.

We will cherish the time we had with him and the memories he helped to create but he will be sorely missed. He was truly one of a kind.

We would like to thank all those that followed his life here on Facebook. He had so much love to give and it was our pleasure to share it with you. Buddy can now rest easy.
