This adorable brother and sister duo had their first little grooms. Took way too long enjoying cuddles and kisses from these 2 but why not!! That's why I love my job ❤️🐕

Have you got space in your heart and home to adopt this beautiful lady? She’s a sterilised, 5 year old Barzoi.

She loves all people and is dog and cat friendly.

She has no health issues other than being a bit overweight.

She has 1 eye, but was born like that. She has 1 normal eye with full sight. This is not affecting her quality of life.

Unfortunately, her owner has passed away and now she’s looking for a new place to call home.

With kennel cough bring reported in some dogs who have been at cross park can I please ask that if your dogs show any symptoms before their groom please call me to reschedule. Although I take care to disinfect my bath and equipment I do not want any dogs put at risk of infection. I do not charge cancellation or rescheduling fees so please let's look after each other's doggies and keep unwell dogs isolated. Thankyou 🙏

Hard to believe it's the same dog...but 1½ hours later...bath, nails cut, matt's clipped off, feet trimmed, fluff dry, face trim and comb clip...look at his gorgeous eyes...just stunning young man under there!! Affectionate and chilled little dude...instant ❤️

Appologies but I've had to cancel all appointments this week. Unfortunately I have brought the dreaded covid home with me from Bali 🤒. I will be rescheduling everyone for next week when hopefully I'm recovered and out of bed. Thankyou for you understanding and patience.

What's the difference between a 'wash & dry' and a 'deshed wash'?
A Wash & dry = a shampoo hydrobath and condition with quck blow dry to remove excess water results in clean and pleasantly scented dog, perfect for short hair dogs such as staffys, greyhounds, jack rusells etc
A 'deshed wash = all of the above plus a completely dry coat, free of loose undercoat, promoting healthy skin and a fully functioning coat. Perfect for double coated dogs such as border collies, shepherds, reteivers etc

Another good reason to bring your dog to a professional groomer...often during bathing and blow drying we can get a really good look at the coat and skin and pick up any problems...this nasty tick was enjoying tasty feast on one of my 🐕 clients

Enlisted the help of Collette from Moggies Doggies Dog Grooming to help me with the mammoth job of deshedding Oscar the Marema newly adopted by his owner. He surprised us both by being so gentle and laid back. Oscar took 2 of us 1½ hours of brushing, washing and blow drying to look absolutely stunning and he felt amazing 😍 thankyou Collette 🙏

Hard to believe this beautiful girl was hidden under all that fur. Matting, fleas and overgrown nails do not feel nice 😔 but I bet she feels wonderful now!! I never judge though as I understand various circumstances can lead to things getting away from owners. So please don't ever be ashamed or worried to bring your dog to me if they have got into a bit of a sorry state, I will always do my best to be compassionate about circumstances and help get things back on track At the end of the day the dogs best interest and comfort is ALWAYS my priority 🐕🐶💞

My Shelby getting in some herding training. So amazing to see their natural instinct kick in. This was so much fun for all of us. I won't share the video of me trying to master the rake technique as it's disastrous/hilarious🙈...never knew I was so uncoordinated 😂 Shelby did awesome...I'm a slow work in progress 😀

With Summer almost here fleas and ticks are active. I am seeing both on dogs coming in the salon at the moment.
Check under your dogs armpits and tummy for fleas...they love to hide here!!
Keep your monthly treatments up to date and don't forget to treat ALL pets in the house to prevent re infestation (cats and dogs) 😊🐕

My border collie is in shame after stealing a tin of sardines ....in oil!! From the kitchen bench. Covered herself, the house in sardine oil. 2 shampoos and she still stinks. Have mopped floor but still stinks. Interesting start to the day...thanks Shelby 🙄. What's the worst thing your dog has done? 🐕🐾🐾
