Jet Set Petz is part of the Bali Jet Set Dive and Marine Sports Corporate Social Responsibility Programme (see www.jetsetmarine.com). Every month we hold a sponsored sterilisation and vaccination day for the Bali dogs and cats of low-income residents of Tanjung Benoa. We focus on education, sterilisation and vaccination in order to control dog and cat populations with the following primary objectives:

1.) Keep the Tanjung Benoa area rabies free.

KEEPING THE LOCAL DOG POPULATION HEALTHY! ❤️🐶

These three dogs were dumped and rescued by this kind local man who has a small shop and fixes electronic appliances. They have all been vaccinated and sterilised under my program.

I also hand out flea and tick meds so if you’re coming to Bali donations of Nexgard Spectra, Simparica Trio, Bravecto, etc are always needed!

Vets in some countries will give away expired product anything under 1 year expiry is still useable!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

This little girl was newly dumped this morning in our bankrupted dive centre which houses 25 of my 86 dogs (all dumped). 😫

She needs to see the vet as she cannot be around my healthy dogs not vaccinated. I can’t take her all my accounts are frozen. 🥶

I need help I’m buried.

Kicked off a motorbike in front of my home two weeks ago by some POS on an Nmax. Joy has now found her forever home where people will be kind with my amazing doggy assistant Citra.

She also has a new friend named Lola. 🤗

I said my program was closed I cannot help. Cat has been hit bleeding from eyes and nose. How can I not help, Gembul is now on the way to the vet.

Food bill: 33,000,000

🐶❤️🙏PROGRAM TEMPORARILY CLOSED 🙏❤️🐶

I currently have IDR75,000,000 (USD5,000) in dog related debt (vet and food). I am now forced to close my program until I can get ahead of the bills.

I also need to fix the old roof in our bankrupted dive centre which houses 25 dogs. This morning the ceiling fell in. Rainy season is here.

I had three requests for urgent help and one dog kicked off a motorbike by owner into my home. All unplanned and more expense.😫

Blackie - a street dog cared for by people in Benoa who had to have an eye removed due to someone throwing acid in his face.
Blacky - a street dog cared for by kind people in the Kampial market, had several litters.
Joy - beaten and dumped by being kicked off a moving motorbike in my home, has facial nerve damage.
Gonzalo - dumped and rescued by a kind local lady who will adopt him, has multiple blood parasites and is very sick will die without treatment.

Annual vaccines are due this Saturday for the 86 dogs in my care.

💔JOY 💔

This little dog was just kicked off an NMax motorbike by her male owner in front of my home. He kicked her and then sped away whilst she darted in and out of traffic. The road in front of my home is super busy. Unfortunately it wasn’t within range of my CCTV.

It looks like she’s pregnant maybe that’s why he decided to try and kill her by having her run over by a car. 😡

This has happened before I’m a target for doggy dumpers.

She’s now safe with me and will soon be on her way to Sunset Vet once she stops shaking.

She’s probably around 2-3 years old.

I need help my current vet bill is IDR60,000,000 (AUD6,000/USD4,000). 😵‍💫

❤️KAMPIAL NUSA DUA MARKET ❤️

A week ago I received a request from Susi who is a lovely lady taking care of not her own dogs but also street dogs. She has a small restaurant (Warung) in Nusa Dua.

She asked if I could help get 5 dogs vaccinated and sterilised that were dumped in the KAMPIAL market. Markets in Bali sadly are a popular dumping ground for unwanted animals.😡

I approved the dogs and they have now been vaccinated and sterilised.

Unfortunately now I have had to close my program indefinitely until the vet bills are paid down.

I currently owe IDR53,000,000 (USD3,500) and also have annual vaccinations coming up in December for the 86 dogs in my care.

I also owe another IDR30,000,000 (USD2,000) for dog food.

🆘HELP NEEDED 🆘

This is Blackie a dog that some kind local people care for and feed.

Today Blackie had a large open wound on his face. We aren’t sure if he got into a fight or was cut.

The wound without treatment will quickly get infected and fill with maggots. It is very close to his eye. He needs to go to the vet ASAP.

He will also be vaccinated and sterilised.

My vet account is currently frozen as I owe IDR30,000,000 (USD2,000).

DUMPED IN INDOMARET TAMAN GRIYA 😤

This little kitty wandered into the store and was crying clearly hungry and looking for her mom.

As I watched the staff pick her up like she was garbage and literally throw her out on the busy street he got a piece of my mind. She wandered back in crying again and I scooped her up. She’s just a baby.

Now on the way to the vet. 🙄

Run Free Mimi ❤️‍🩹

I need to post this to clarify the story of Mimi.

I sat down with technically the lady who rescued her 5 days ago today as I prefer to hear information directly from the people concerned and not hearsay.

Please reserve judgement until you read the whole story.

To summarise this is what I was told:

Mimi was owned by the nephew of Made. Her nephew adopted Mimi to Kadek one year ago.

5 days ago they went to buy a knife from near Kadeks house and found Mimi in horrible condition.

Made took her home.

It was then that people tried to help but she did not want to surrender Mimi. I stepped in and just said I would help so she was given to me.

I will be helping Made with her other 16 dogs next week all rescues that live with her.

I will also be going to meet Kadek who I am told is the one that did not take care of her properly.

I know how this goes - two of my adopters killed my dogs, so a bit of empathy here folks may be needed until I get to the bottom of everything next week. I am told the adopter also has another dog let’s hope not in the same condition.

Thank you to my husband also for speaking to her to make sure there was no miscommunication.

❤️‍🩹Rest in Peace Mimi ❤️‍🩹 Unfortunately Mimi collapsed this morning the long term lack of good food and negligence took its toll on her body. Had the owner accepted help earlier rather than refusing, she may have made it. Run free big girl this didn’t need to happen and I’m so sorry I did my best but it was too late. 😭
