Imagine...being ordered by the government to burn your bees, hives, equipment or go to jail.
Sadly...this is a reality in NZ right now as farmers loose millions with no reimbursement for them.
Why? Because a American foulbreed disease was detected on some equipment but no bees have tested positive. 😢🐝

It was a process getting the photos done around my whirlwind life 🙄 but they're done.
Bear with me, a foal born last week is requiring some intense work so extra photos/videos will be random.
They will be ready to go the weekend of June 1. They will be available to the East coast as well.

Hey everyone :)
Sorry I've been MIA a little bit, but I'm slowly getting back at it.

Scooby left for his new home today, leaving just Ruh Roh from the litter. I've added a video of the 2 of them in their pool from March Break.

It will be around 10 weeks before more pups are available. These pups are from Gobi x ZsaZsu and they will be big. I fully expect females to top out around 70lbs and males to be 85-95lbs. Gobi comes from competitive sled dog lines and is quite a big girl. She is a dusty red medium coat. This will be her first litter. She's due right around the time we will be having our solar eclipse.

Temps are on the upswing, so I pulled out a kiddi pool for the last 3 pups this morning. Ruhroh promptly took off with the one toy 🙄😆

I have some new photos of the remaining pups, but I want to take a moment and talk about Tink and Rizza Rie.
Tinker was born late last summer, a stunning dark sable. When she left for the East Coast, she was still a dark sable. The beautiful golden with black points is her now.
Rizza Rie is doing the same thing. He's gone from his stunning black with blue eyes to a dark wheat colour with black points abd getting more golden every day.
There's a sharp learning curve to identifying the strong silver morph colouring in the Detour pups, but OMG are they stunning, no matter what colour they are

Sorry I haven't posted any updated photos, but I've been pretty sick for the last 10 days. Getting better :)
But, imagine my surprise when I went in to let the pups out this morning to find they'd decided to go swimming 🙄 definitely Boreals 🤣
Zoinks left yesterday and I've included a message from the parents of the young man she went to. I hope she helps him 🥰

I finally got the pups outside.
This time of the year is hard, because the hawks/eagles/Northern Harriers are hunting and these guys are the perfect size :(
Branch is with them, being a good boy 🥰

Summer's pups will be making the trek to the vet tomorrow morning. They will be 8 weeks next Friday.

On this very cold day, Poppy has headed home with the Edwards' family to join another Boreal pup ❤
Smidge leaves for his new family Thursday, which will just leave 3 remaining, who are mad at me for not leaving the door open for them all day. 🤣
The TROLLS litter WAS supposed to be the last litter of 2023 🙄.
Summer came in just after Briana, so I skipped her, opting to wait until her next heat. We kept Detour away until she was done her heat. Fast forward a few weeks later, I hear a commotion and go check, only to find Detour is tied to her :(
She had a split heat that wasn't caught.
But, can I just say OMG these pups! They are all dark, ridiculously fluffy, and some have blue eyes. I can't wait to start sharing them with you. They are 4 weeks old now.
