Happy 2nd Birthday to Pyro!!!!
We started out our second year with a bad Psoas Injury that we spent a good part of the year rehabbing but managed to fit in plenty of fun activities!
We went on hikes, travelled and camped at a ton of new places, played and swam in tons of lakes, rivers and the ocean, went on lots of paddle board trips, modeled, met tons of new friends and did lots of training.
We got through some crazy fear periods and made it out the other side as a very happy confident boy. He loves to strut around like a peacock thinking that everyone loves to admire him! He is forever happy, confident and completely reckless and loves giving me anxiety as he thinks everything is something to jump on or over, he hops and runs on cars, he climbs ladders, thinks nothing can stop him, unless it’s an agility teeter, for whatever reason those are still questionable.
We have been training in agility, rally and scentwork. He discovered his love of running completing his BCAT in 5 runs. He was fresh off rehab so I can’t wait to see how he does this next year now that he is stronger and faster. He showed a little in Conformation earning his UKC Champions, a leg towards his grand and is almost done with his AKC CM. He also got to give weightpull a shot and got his UWP
Looking forward to competing in more sports and have a few AKC shows planned this next year and I can’t wait to see him succeed and grow as he shows so much potential and is my favorite adventure buddy who never says no!

Forever thankful to Thurisia for letting me use the extremely incredible and handsome Attila with Bindi as they created the most incredible boy who never leaves my side and always leaves me smiling

Happy Second Birthday to Feyre!
Happiest Birthday to my happy go lucky sweet little floof who has such a zest for life!
In the last year she finished her UKC Championship, working towards her grand and getting very close to her AKC CM. We competed and qualified in Dash, Fast Cat, Weight Pull, Agility and Scentwork this year and she is coming along so amazingly in all her training and is a very smart and versatile little girl. Agility is definitely her favorite activity with scentwork a close second!
We have also gone on so many fun and exciting adventures and traveled to several different states. Lots of hiking, camping and paddle boarding over the summer and planning some snow shoeing adventures coming up soon. She also did some modeling this past year.
We will be completing her health tests over the next few months and look forward to planning her future.
Forever thankful to Jenn of Thurisia Klee Kai for letting me have this incredible little dog who always had a smile on her face! Life would not be the same without her in it!

Pyro earned both his CGCA and CGCU this weekend!
He is maturing into such an incredibly well mannered and balanced boy!
He went through some crazy fear periods when he was younger but he is starting to take after both his incredible parents in becoming a social butterfly, gets along great with most other dogs, easy to travel with and most importantly is a easy dog to live with! Unless you’re trying to sit on your butt and be lazy as he does prefer an active lifestyle which is good for me!

Some bonus pictures of Pyro and Bindi trick or treating at our agility trial today! Definitely the cutest baby dragons! No Qs for Bindi but she had tons of great moments in agility and Feyre is in heat so had to stay home and will get to trial next year as agility trial season has wrapped up for the year!

The girls had a fantastic weekend playing scentwork! They both were only entered in 1 run a day but both Q’d in both their runs.

Bindi completed her Novice Exterior title on Saturday and in turn completed her overall AKC Scentwork Novice title and got her first Advanced Exterior leg today.

Feyre competed and qualified in Novice Buried both days completing her Novice Buried Title today which was her first scentwork title!

Both girls absolutely love playing the snoofing game and even more than that they love coming to trials and socializing with all their human friends conning pets and treats out of most everyone!

Feyre earned her BCAT today at the Puyallup show!
Photos from Fast Cat in April where Pyro earned his BCAT and Bindi is working towards her DCAT. We are doing fast cat today only and it’s hot and humid but dogs are still having fun!
And brought my mom to help as her first dog event! She got to start with Pyro who seasoned people struggle to hang on to so he got loose before the lure started moving so probably not her best intro but she did great releasing Fey who is less beast like!

Team Quest had a fantastic weekend at our local AKC agility trial! Feyre and Pyro got to debut in the Jumpers class and play in Fast while Bindi runs in masters. Starting again on the bottom is weird but excited for the Journey it will take me on as they both absolutely LOVE agility!

Feyre was a little super star who Q’d and got First place in both Jumpers and Fast on Saturday. She decided she had no start line and was all enthusiasm and while we definitely know we need to work on things like start lines and rear crosses I couldn’t be more proud of how she handled herself and listened well to the verbals, figuring out what I meant for the commands I never taught her and had great forward focus and showed that she was confident enough to really extend and go out ahead of me and know what she was doing with out looking back!

Pyro did not Q and did not successfully weave but I am none the less just as proud of him! Training an intact boy is so incredibly different than working with girls and currently does struggle a bit with focusing in a trial environment but more focus than he had been lately and he tried so hard to be good and not just run off and once he mentally matures a bit more I know he will do great! He also took all of winter and a good part of spring off for rehabbing a psoas injury so he is behind on training and I wasn’t sure if I would even be getting to the point of him trialing this summer so I think he did great with the circumstances

Bindi brought me lots of speed and enthusiasm out but minimal listening skills as she chose to ignore many verbals even the ones given plenty early but watching her joy for running makes up for it and she did qualify in Master Standard and earned 19 MACH points with a 1st place in a large 12 inch class

Overall the dogs are fan favorites at the trials and everyone gets a good kick of Bindi and Pyro choosing to only sleep on top of the kennel and Pyro would sit up and watch me whenever I was away so you could see his head pop up from the crowd. Bindi especially loves her agility family and insists on taking social strolls so she may visit all the humans to collect pets and treats!
Running multiple dogs was hard especially when some of the runs were close to back to back so thankful for all of our wonderful friends who helped hold dogs and treats and videod our runs as I couldn’t have done everything without support!

Videos will be added in the comments since fb won’t allow pages to upload more than one video so everyone can see the good the bad and the ugly but all the runs had a lot of good qualities regardless of a Q

Pyro Took Best of Breed Friday and Saturday

On Sunday Feyre took Best of Breed followed by a Group 1/Best In FSS

To say I’m incredibly proud of this girl is an understatement! She always brings her all into the show ring and will show nicely for just about anyone!
A huge thanks to my friend Chelsy for showing her in the Breed ring

Both puppies are showing such incredible growth and potential and I can’t wait to see what else they accomplish this year and getting closer to completing their CMs

New Champions!

Couldn’t be more thrilled and excited to announce that these two both finished their UKC Champions titles this past weekend in Longview!

Saturday Feyre took Best Female over a couple of other nice girls to earn her Champion the first show and had 3 reserve Champions the rest of the weekend.
She also had a qualifying weightpull pull earning her Third Total Dog award!

Pyro was showing that over a month on rest and confinement just made him crazy and he just wanted to pull non stop in the ring and was refusing to gait. Sunday we managed to pull it together and he took a Best of Winners Show 1 to earn his champion title! Show 2 he decided that maybe he will gait somewhat decently which earned him a Champion class win and his first leg towards his Grand Champion as well as Best of Breed and Group 3!

Both dogs earned several compliments from judges on their wonderful structure as well as their temperaments.

A huge congratulations as well to our friends at Nornir and Cascade for their respective wins and for the company!

The weekend before last we stayed local and did an AKC scentwork trial with the girls. They both like to fly into the search area at top speed with their noses activated and performed really well! Fey was handled by my friend Kayla for a run who she had very minimal interaction with previously and was initially willing to work with her which I was very proud of her for!
Bindi completed her AKC novice buried title and went on to qualify in Advanced buried
Feyre also qualified in Novice Containers and Novice buried for legs towards her titles!
Couldn’t be more proud of how well the girls worked and recieved many compliments about their enthusiasm and what good workers they are!

Pyro also came along for socialization! He is currently on rest from an injury so we tried a dog stroller for him after passionately hating dog strollers for years and he absolutely loved strolling around and visiting the “drive thru” and getting many treats out the window! He still has a month or two of recovery before he is cleared to do sports again and can walk just fine but he tends to get over excited and it’s hard work to keep himself from injuring himself further!

A little over 2 weeks ago we attended the VelociCanine UKI agility February Valentine’s Day trial. Bindi was on her A game Saturday getting First place in Agility and Jumpers and had the second fastest time over all the jump heights. She earned her International Novice Dog title and got to move up Sunday. She did absolutely incredible on Sunday as well and even when we had 10 backsides in a single course her enthusiasm stayed high and did super amazing on the courses while her handler bumbled through them and just missed one thing on each course due to handler error.

A few weeks ago we attended the AKC Puyallup FSS Open Show and the puppies have shown that they took to their training and showed beautifully! All 3 judges we showed under complimented their nice structure, movement and their temperament. Pyro even got complimented on what a well mannered dog he was with the judge stating that he was the best behaved klee kai she ever met! This was especially huge as if anyone saw him as a younger puppy during his fear periods he was a hot mess in the ring and didn’t want anyone touching him on the table and he is now happy and confident in the ring and enjoys meeting the judges! Proud of these two dogs is an understatement!

On Friday Feyre got a best of breed win and a Group 2 Pyro took Best of Opposite S*x
Saturday Pyro got Best of Breed and Group 4 and Feyre took Best of Opposite S*x
Sunday Feyre took Best of Breed and Pyro took Best of Opposite S*x
