Looking for a super sweet, playful and smart kitty who loves spending time with his people? Squid may be your guy! Squid is a confident, adventurous cat and his favourite things include being pet and curling up beside you, sprinting around batting and chasing his favourite toys, playing in his cat tunnel, and last but not least, he LOVES food. His food motivation comes in handy, making him very receptive to training and learning commands. So far, he knows "sit", "spin," and "touch" and seems to understand what you're asking him very quickly. He will come up and greet you when you come home with cute little meows asking for cuddles, sometimes flopping onto his back showing you his fluffy belly. He shows his love by purring away and giving you sweet little nose rub kisses. His ideal human would be someone who will enjoy playing and cuddling with him, keeping up with his training, and continuing work on some of his manners, particularly around food. Of course, this adopter will also love having the company of this goofy boy.

Update on Jupiter 🪐
The urine culture came back negative so we are back at monitoring symptoms. So far we’ve notice significantly less UTI symptoms compare to last week. Jupiter is happy, eating and using the litter box normally. And he is currently following intensive cleaning lessons given by Soleil so this is also improving!

Medication Skills: pills, syringes, subcutaneous injections
Favourite part about being a cat sitter: I love to work with shy kitties. Such a great feeling when a shy cat starts opening up to me.
Best cat toy/enrichment tool: I am a big fan of Da Bird and Bamboozler (both wand toys) and often bring them to sittings.

Venus and Pluto have been adopted by a lovely couple! We are still working on coordinating the pick up day as all our fosters are currently experiencing some soft poops. ( what a timing🤦🏻♀️) We need to have this issue resolve before moving them to their forever home. But otherwise, I’m very happy with this match, Pluto and Venus will have great parents!

‘’Update Jupiter’’
We have the results for the urine test and there’s blood and bacteria in his urine. They are doing a culture to know which antibiotics is best to treat it.
I’m still in shock as I thought that I was maybe overthinking his symptoms but my instinct was actually right. His symptoms were subtle (the vet thought it was stress and I insisted for the test) so I think this is a great reminder that if we notice even a small change in our cat’s behavior and habits, it’s important to get them checked out by the vet and advocate for them. Cats are the best at hiding pain and discomfort so we have to be vigilant.
Jupiter is otherwise in good spirit but we can’t wait to start treatment so that he can finally feel better.

Coby is a calm and affectionate boy. He loves nothing more than pets and snuggles and has the sweetest, softest meows. He tends to get a little nervous around a lot of people or in the presence of loud sounds, so he'd be well-suited as a sole pet in a home without young children or other animals. Coby is very well behaved and never scratches or chews any household items. He does have a lot of curiosity for plants though, so care should be taken to ensure he only has cat-friendly plants around. Coby is not very food motivated, but he really enjoys pets. When you get home, he usually greets you and hops up to receive pets! He also likes to sleep near you. If you enjoy the company of a relaxed cat and you are soft-spoken and relaxed, he will enjoy your love and company!

We are on our way to the vet this afternoon with him to test for a UTI and to try figuring out why he still vomits once in a while. Hopefully, we will get some answers. Otherwise, all this isn’t slowing Jupiter down at all. He plays, purrs and eats really well.

Baby Jupiter 🩵🩵
He has had an upset stomach for a few days. He is doing much better now thankfully but we are still dealing with occasional vomiting. (We are working with Vokra’s health team)
Also, if you are wondering why his cheeks are missing some hair, it’s because he isn’t cleaning himself properly yet and food will dry up there. We have to clean it for him so sometimes he loses a bit of hair then. It happens a lot with kittens in general but mostly with orphans. Jupiter is lucky to have Soleil helping out but he is still a little behind with his cleaning skills. He’ll catch up in no time!

Ivo is a sweet, gentle kitty who makes a great "work from home" buddy. He may be scared at first with strangers, but will quickly warm up to them. He is fairly quiet and only meows softly when he really needs your attention. Ivo generally spends his daytime hours having long naps near you to keep you company with occasional walks across your keyboard to make sure you are hard at work. He also likes to watch the birds and all the activity out the windows. He likes your company but is fine left alone for the day. Ivo can be very playful and likes to hide out in his cat tunnel. When you present a cat dancer toy, he will show off his great jumping skills. Ivo loves to sleep in the bed with you, and at some point in the night, he will snuggle up against your face or nearby. He has been great at letting his foster family sleep in, patiently waiting for breakfast. Ivo would like to be the only cat in the home and might be fine with older children who are experienced with shy cats. Ivo can't wait to join your family!

Best cat name I’ve come across: Cappuccino, I am personally biased on this one. Cappy was my late cat and he really looked like a soft cup of cap.
Favourite memory: I love cats so much. My favorite memory with a cat was honestly finding Cappuccino in my family’s local pool. He was a tiny kitten that was looking for food and lots of love, both never faded.
Best cat toy/enrichment tool: P**f balls and feather toys!
Favourite cat joke/pun: That’s purrrfect
About Me: Honestly, I am and always will be a cat lady and I’m proud of it. I loved all the cats that have come and gone in my life. They all own a piece of my heart. I will definitely love your cat and treat them with the best of care.
