The Happy Herd Farm Sanctuary provides a forever home for all types of animals. They will live out their entire lives in a beautiful natural setting treated with kindness and respect. It all started with Desi Moo Moo our first calf. When he was just 2 weeks old we got our pink pig Lucy, a tiny piglet and the two immediately bonded and became life long friends. As Desi got bigger they both joined B
aby the donkey and her best friend Betty Big Nose, grazing in a huge field. One year later we got another two male calves, Scooter and Sparky, and we officially announced our home The Happy Herd in 2014! The Happy Herd is located in the beautiful Fraser Valley, outside Vancouver, B.C. The feeling that anyone who visits gets is just a calm, safe place and the animals that arrive seem to feel it too.We are thrilled just how many kind and caring people have found us and want to share this experience.

Dinner with the Animals was so much fun! Thanks to David Isbister for acting as MC and singing and comedy and after the thunder and lightning the night before a massive Thank You to for their donation of 2 beautiful tents that made the area so special! How beautiful! Our volunteers Emily, Glenda and Kathy helped others so much of the minute by minute work and Glenda for this gorgous photo! Thanks for all the help to Rhiannon who flew in from Calgary for the event! To Fraser and Brittney for the help wirh set up and Linda, next door, for the gorgous flowers. WHAT A NIGHT!

Our dear sweet JillyBean who we had to say good bye to a few years ago. Had the run of the farm. She loved to swing her horns and head butt. We were so proud when we thought we found a solution (she had these off in about two minutes btw lol)

Hazel enjoying his new food dishes from Home Sense!
Hazel is a 4 year old Lavender Orpington rooster who came to us with a severe case of wry neck. Though treated, he was left with a permanent deformity. The raised dishes have been extremely helpful, as sometimes he has trouble reaching food on the ground.
Also--he loves climbing on them 😆🐒
