🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED TODAY 🚨
Rowdy and Shrimp’s foster has suddenly ghosted us and we have NOWHERE for them to go. These two sweet, 4-month-old puppies are in desperate need of a safe place immediately.
They are absolute gems — gentle, loving, and great with dogs, kids, AND cats. For puppies, they’re incredibly easy. Playful, snuggly, and well-behaved.
We provide everything — food, supplies, vet care — all you need to do is open your heart and home. Even a temporary foster helps save lives. 💔
Please, we are begging — help us keep them safe. Without a foster, we cannot continue rescuing others in need.

The is city-owned, which means it belongs to us—the people of Los Angeles. And we demand answers‼️

WUFAW has repeatedly tried to work with the city and to improve . We thought—finally—we were making progress. But this latest slap in the face makes it crystal clear: LA leadership continues to treat animals with complete disregard.

The blatant lack of transparency and cowardice from Mayor Bass’ office is pathetic.
Grow a spine and stop ignoring your constituents while protecting those in power—like the Zoo Director, Denise Verret, who just so happens to also chair the AZA Board and “recommended” sending Billy and Tina to another zoo instead of a sanctuary.

This is NOT what the people want.
This is NOT animal welfare.
This is corruption.
