Originally written July 2nd of 2014, I initially could speak about much of this little dissertation. As things developed over the next few years it got far deeper and I couldn't articulate what I saw in mind's eye until after the 2020 lightning strike (amazing what being 'slight;y poached/electrified/lightly sauteed can do to a person). A friend died and 'returned' in 2022, reminding me it's not a fluke when he started asking questions. I'd actually edited this in 2018 but the original with minor errors just seems to make sense...
Loki Fenris (Lokimonster)’s Universal Law
I’m not sure how this will translate into written word, but this is a gift I have received and I must share. En route to Tallahassee with Loki I had an epiphany:
I have always struggled to understand some ‘basic’ concepts of religion and how they apply to ‘modern life’.
Our very existence and perception of the world around us is very much a two-way system, yet somehow it seems as humans we have forgotten this.
Imagine if every life experience you ever had – whether good, bad, or indifferent – is associated with a specific, unique color. Since light waves vibrate at a given wavelength, each of those colors also vibrates at a certain sound frequency.
The blank medium on which to paint your existence is not a flat, static piece of canvas, but a dynamic, 3-dimensional ‘universe’ completely enveloping you - it moves, breathes, and can grow in any direction.
You are free to paint that canvas in any way you see fit, the color frequencies that you choose will vibrate and begin to resonate as you paint your life. Sound vibrations can be incredibly powerful as science has proven; they can manipulate matter and gravity with relative ease. Because this is now a dynamic, ‘living’ two-way existence, you can paint other living being into your existence simply by choosing your colors/frequencies and letting the harmonics work their magic.
Sound vibrations can come together and resonate as a beautiful masterpiece - or they can clash violently, cancel each other out and destroy things. Free will and thought gives us the ability to the make and grow the artwork around us.
Things around you can fill you with noise, chaos, and other distractions, but if you listen closely to the things that really matter, they can also be filtered right out.
As asked at the beginning of Dada Forever’s ‘American Highway Flower’ album: “What is it that you want?”
