🎉As we usher in the new year, let Barney be an inspiration to us all. Please help us to help this precious little 4-1/2 lb. guy.
We learned Barney had four homes before coming to rescue.
His health has been severely neglected and he will be facing multiple surgeries after he gains a couple pounds;
his dental will be first (our vet does not think we can save any teeth and his jaw is a little bit in danger but we love him) then he will need a cherry eye repair, and last a neuter. We hope for no other surprises
Barney is filled with enthusiasm for life and a forgiving nature. He is a happy boy and is so grateful for a chance to thrive.

We have been a little busy this year helping stray animals in Houston find homes but, we wanted to say Merry Christmas 🎄

❄️ The first cold front of the year, and we chose to celebrate by rescuing the
“Winter Whites”
All four of these babies were found wandering the streets. No collar, no microchip and no loving family to take care of them.
Three of them were in deplorable conditions, it’s some of the worst matting our Groomer has ever seen.
Stay tuned for their glow up pictures you won’t recognize them after their grooming.

Guess what, it’s my adoptabirthdayversary 🤣 One year ago today after a very scary vet visit where we found out I have mega esophagus, my mom decided she couldn’t live without me. It has been the best year for both of us. I have traveled all over and met so many new people. I can’t wait to see what our second year together holds. ♥️

🌈 A year ago this sweet angel gained her wings and gifted us this beautiful Orchid. It bloomed recently and every time I look at it I feel like it’s Annie letting me know she is ok. Hug your babies tight, tomorrow is never promised.

Sometimes I miss my best friend, my soul-dog, my whole world. It has been 10 months since Annie left us but, not a day goes by that I don’t think about her. On International Chihuahua appreciation day 🐶 we though it was the perfect time to announce that has adopted a new baby girl. Meet Charlie, she was brought to us when her owner passed away, and she has brought us so much comfort after losing Annie and Isabella. Get ready for lots of pictures and posts. Isn’t she adorable?
