Absolutely horrific!!!! When will people learn to take responsibility! People Ike this shouldn’t even be allowed to own dogs!!!

Also a reminder please do not let your dogs freely roam in your front yard!! Don’t care how friendly you think they are!

Make sure your dogs are fully contained it’s part of being a responsible pet owner!!!

And for the love of god stop letting dogs off a lead in public places designated on lead only!!

Truly hope the councils start cracking down on this crap!

A day in the life of owning 5 dogs is not easy work! We are up at the crack of dawn every day, training, exercising, working the dogs physically and mentally before I head off to work to train everyone else’s dogs 🤣

The boys will each have a 20 minute session involving trick training and obedience where they work for their daily meals. I then let them all out for off lead free time where they get to run and do what they like. We then head home and do a further 15 mins of toy play and then they are put back in there pens for wind down time. The old girl comes out for her session once the boys are put away 🥰

Hey everyone!!!

So plans for next year are looking like

Walk and trains fortnightly run on a Monday 6:30am first pickup- 5:30pm last drop

Group classes once a month ( on a Monday night at lilydale lake 6:30)

one on ones will be run Monday (fortnightly) Tuesday and Wednesday 12:30-8:30pm

The Monday that’s on the walk and train fortnight diamond will be running one on ones back to back with the walk and train groups and will be from 6:30am-5:30pm finish.

There will most likely be no home visit sessions in the new year.

For those people who miss out on sessions my book and my online courses will hopefully be ready as a backup!

Grooming is still unfortunately closed but we are hoping to move location in the near future where I’ll be able to open up grooming again properly! plans are to do desensitisation sessions for dogs who really struggle with grooming process. ( long term goals) 🥰

Please be aware spaces for all of these services will be limited and once at capacity we won’t be able to take on any new clients so please make sure your booking way ahead! Please understand most clients will book 12 months in advance! So please if you think your dog will need on going training PLAN AHEAD.

STORM REMINDER

important reminder guys!
Tomorrow is forecast for some nasty storms! Please make sure your dogs are secured safely within the home!

If you have a storm fobic dog put them into a confined space, small room, crate or pen where they feel secure ( if you haven’t crate trained yet and have a storm fobic dog, would be an idea to get this training done!), medication can take the edge off, putting on a tv and music.

Remember not to coddle your dog during a storm!
If you have a dog who isn’t afraid of storms it would be the perfect time to make storms even more fun, do some food games, toy play and training! For dogs that will eat give them something like an antler, wood stick, bully stick, bones can be used to but make sure they are age appropriate ( size, type etc)

Ensure your dogs have tags on their collars with contact numbers!

We also use air tags on all of our dogs as a backup for location identification!

WHAT A SUPER STAR!! Little Louie absolutely smashing her first loose lead walking session with her owner today! Louie has been in our walk and train program weekly right up to 16 weeks! She’s only just turned 16 weeks and is exactly where she should be In regards to engagement, confidence, obedience and manners within the home! Her owner is so committed and understands how much work should be put into a puppy from the get go! Couldn’t be more proud 🥹 guys by 16 weeks this is where your pup should be at! Working through loose lead walking, have a strong marker foundation, basic obedience started, home structures sorted and your dog should be engaging with you around distraction! That first 16 weeks is absolutely critical! How strong is your dogs recall? Oakley, Luna and brock are all long term clients! There owners have been working really hard on recall and e collar work! Oakley and luna had their first off lead session on their last walk and train to proof there recall skills under high real life distractions as well as their e collar conditioning! Both dogs nailed it! Brocky isn’t far behind in the process and goals are for off lead work also! So proud of these three!! 🥰

Harlows first off lead session!!! Her owner has been working so hard on the recall on her long lead over the past few months! We are now working on e collar conditioning for goals of off lead under distractions! Today was a awesome step towards that goal! 😍
