We are so lucky to have the amazing Danielle Knight as part of our coaching team!
🌟 Pony Club Legends: Danielle Knight 🌟
We’re delighted to celebrate Danielle Knight, a true gem of the Orange Grove Horse & Pony Club! Danielle’s Pony Club adventure began back in 2008 at Horseman’s Pony Club, and after joining Orange Grove in 2018, she’s become an invaluable part of our community. Known for her dedication, kindness, and passion for horses, Danielle quickly stood out as both a rider and a role model.
Throughout her years at Orange Grove, Danielle has earned her D, D*, C, and C* certificates and received awards like Best All Round Pony Club Member and the President's Trophy in 2020. In 2021, her commitment to Pony Club and the wider equestrian community was recognised with the Pony Club WA Citizenship Award, a testament to her exceptional contributions.
Danielle has a gift for guiding younger riders and teaching horsemanship that’s more than just skill—it's about nurturing respect, teamwork, and care for horses. As the club’s theory coach, she works with riders at all levels, making learning fun and accessible for everyone. Whether she’s coaching at rallies, helping as a qualified gear checker, or providing first aid support, Danielle brings warmth and a positive spirit that everyone can count on.
Her dedication doesn’t stop there! In 2021, Danielle joined the Orange Grove committee as joint riders’ representative, a role she held for two years. During this time, she put her energy into editing the club newsletter, organising rally encouragement awards, and planning end-of-year events for our younger members—each project infused with her characteristic enthusiasm and attention to detail. Danielle is also a scorer for Orange Grove’s competition series, lending her expertise to ensure these club fundraisers run smoothly.
Danielle’s journey with Pony Club has been about more than just competing—she’s made lasting friendships, gained skills, and helped others find their place in the equestrian world. Her values of care, humility, and sportsmanship are inspiring, and she’s shown young riders that there are so many rewarding paths within Pony Club beyond competition.
We’re incredibly grateful to have Danielle as part of our Pony Club family. She’s a wonderful coach, a kind-hearted volunteer, and an inspiring role model for us all. Here’s to many more years of fun, learning, and growth together!
