This baby right here! Dolly has been so scared to go to the groomer, even the mobile grooming trailer that does such a beautiful job on her furry siblings. Today she was a rockstar in the table in her own home with her hooman dad there as a support. What a joy it is to bring comfort to this baby!

I simply love this little doggie family. Allie, Bella and Boomer are so sweet and love their special treatments. Boomer is getting older and has a lot of lumps and bumps and some anxiety so he got to take a break before he was finished and we did just what he absolutely needed. I really love the old dogs.

Bentley is such a sweet boy. He was born in a puppy mill situation and when his mom got him he was 7 months old and living in a small cage. Early socializing is so vital for dogs and because he did not get that he struggles . He has run away from mom, not once but twice, when he was taken to grooming appointments. Mom never wants to take him anywhere again and is so glad he can be groomed in his home. It will take some time but hopefully we can train him to be less stressed and actually enjoy his spa days!

Arrabella is the sweetest old girl. In spite of her age, her blindness and her insane allergies, she is always so happy to see me. I learn a lot every time I get to work with her and her mom. We are always researching and trying new ideas to give her relief from the constant itching. We even sent off some of her hair for allergy testing and now we refer to that and her vets for more ideas. I pray we find the right combinations of food, supplements and natural remedies to let her live her very best life!

Meet Willow. Mom and Dad had been trying to maintain her grooming on their own but were wise enough to call in a professional. Sweet girl is naked now and has some pretty bad skin issues they will see the vet for in a few days. Now the vet will be able to see what she is dealing with and help her heal. It was a great opportunity to help Willow and to educate her people. I can't wait to see how great she will look in a couple months!

Let me tell you a little bit about this sweet girl right here. The past year has been full of challenges for her family....

Let me tell you a little bit about this sweet girl right here. The past year has been full of challenges for her family. Dad had a stroke followed by not one but two open heart surgeries. Grandma was diagnosed with cancer. Mom has been juggling these medical treatments , the home, a job and family. All the while Ritzy has been there to comfort everyone, soak up moms tears and lick them off her face.
At ten years old, Ritzy was recently diagnosed with kidney failure. And again, she comforts mom and cleans her tears from her cheeks.
I was contacted by mom when her usual groomer was booked out into next year, to get Ritzy looking her best so that she can be in upcoming family photos... A snapshot in time as they are reminded daily that tomorrow may not happen. Ritzy has more than proven that our fur babies are a part of our family, that the unconditional love and comfort they provide is a treasure to be held near and dear to our hearts.
My thoughts and prayers are with this sweet family as they face the days ahead.
