Well that was a new experience! 4pm all looked calm. 6pm Maggie seemed unsettled. Take her in for bloods and she’s ready to go! 2 boys 3 girls home by midnight. All very good weights. Let the long days and sleepless nights begin!

With the heaviest of hearts the update on Sadie is not good. She did start to perk up after the anti-venom was administered but it seems the damage to her vital organs was already too much for her perfect little body. Absolutely devastated. You held a special place in so many hearts baby-faced girl 😢

Hug your fur kids and send good thoughts to our beautiful Sadie who had a run in with a 6ft brown snake today. Little Sadie Potatie is now recovering thanks to emergency vet care. A reminder that just because it's winter, doesn't mean they are not around. :(
