We are now Fear Free certified!!

It’s not that I didn’t already take the best care of your fluffy friend this just adds more experience & education!

The Fear Free Grooming Certification is a program that helps make grooming a positive experience for dogs. It teaches groomers how to create a calm and friendly environment, so your pup feels safe and relaxed during their grooming session. Certified groomers learn special techniques to reduce stress and anxiety, which helps build trust not only between pets and the groomer but with their owner at home aswell. With this certification, grooming becomes less scary for dogs, making it a better experience for everyone involved.

As you can tell he was super stoked to have a mini coop made out of all his furr and will be feeling a lot cooler now the sun is out 💫

The best way to keep your double - coated dog cooler in summer is to get regular desheds done to get rid of all that dead hair and to ensure that the outer coat can work as it’s intended to do

K-9 Wild Dog Grooming is an at home dog grooming salon located in Kamo, the way I like to work things is one - on -one meaning I take one dog at a time and groom them straight away, this way the dog builds a relationship with me and doesn’t have the distraction of other dogs/grooming equipment overstimulating them cause let’s be real the grooming process is tiring and stimulating enough on its own.

Today I had the beautiful 4 month old Indy in 🥰 isn’t she just delightful!

Today was her first groom and she did absolutely amazing… even though it may not look “perfect” the most important thing is that Indy was comfortable the whole process and when she told me she was done, I dropped my tools and said “sure thing” … it is super important to start your pup off young with the grooming process aswell as listen to them when they are showing signs of having enough 🩷 this will give them a positive grooming experience aswell as build a awesome fear free relationship with you and the grooming tools
