Sadly got a call from the vet about an hour after my previous post, with the news that Hexix had taken a turn for the worse and there was no possibility of successful treatment so we had to make the difficult decision to end his pain, surrounded by those he loved.

Life with Helix has been challenging from the start but right now we face the biggest challenge we’ve ever had . He’s one sick boy and it’s going to take everything he’s got to get through this one. He’s at the emergency vet for the weekend and they are doing everything they can to help him get through
