We’ve had Bugsy in our lives since 2012. When we adopted him we were told not to get attached because he probably wouldn’t live. He had been used as a bait dog, had heart worms, and stomach worms and was covered in fleas. But he made it. For just over a decade Bugsy blessed us by being a part of our family.
Today Sir Bugsy Pibbles crossed the rainbow bridge. We didn’t even see it coming. Our morning started like any other. Breakfast and play time with his sister Hera. We played with the hose and Bugsy ran through the water barking and jumping and rolling around in the mud. About 45 minutes later he was unresponsive. The vet thinks he either got into something toxic or he had a stroke. I’m going to miss my boy so much.
