If you are in need of help re-homing your Cat, and we cannot fit it into the rescue at the time, we do have a long established Owner/Foster program, where we work alongside you to find the best home suitable for your kitty. Supporting you through the process while you keep your Cat with you in the comfort he/she is accustomed to, & help approve the new home. As with all our Owner Fosters we'll mak

e sure applicants have pet approval if in a rental property. We have a conversation with them before passing their name & number to you if we think they may be a good match for your kitty. Before commencing the process:
We will need to see proof that your Cat/s are Sterilised, Microchipped in your name, & have their Vaccinations up to date within the last 12 months if an outdoor Cat, or 2 years if an indoor Cat. We rely solely on donations. We are a 'NO Kill' Rescue

Our Story

Paws Cat Rescue Inc is an Incorporated, Registered Charity with the ACNC, and endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient with Charity Collections and Fundraising Licenses

Established in 2009, PAWS Cat Rescue has been steadily helping the homeless felines in the Perth Metropolitan area. Currently based in the Southern suburb of Baldivis, the Rescue is now helping the surrounding areas from Rockingham to Pinjarra.

Through our OWNER FOSTER PROGRAM we work closely with current Owners who need help finding their Cat a suitable new home directly from their home. We understand that when a pet, for whatever reason, needs to be rehomed, that it can be a delicate time. We endeavour to make this time as easy a process as possible for all parties involved. All Cats must be compliant with the current West Australian Cat Laws before commencement: Sterilised, Microchipped, and Vaccinations are up to date. We retain the fee from the Adoption as a Donation for our services, and it goes straight to our Emergency Fund.
