I wanted to share how easy it is to participate in the Spaniels4Life Charity Fundraising Group fundraiser benefiting Florida Brittany Rescue this month.

See the attached photo below as a guide to ensure you pay with PayPal friends and family / personal payment.

He is now in foster care in Pensacola, FL . His foster mom is a professional trainer with K-9-Kent training solutions LLC. We now believe he is ready to leave rescue for his forever home

Andy is 2 years old, neutered and has a fantastic temperament with children, adults and dogs of all kinds.

This social butterfly loves meeting new people, kids, and dogs - whether they're male, female, intact or fixed. He's not reactive on leash, making him a joy to take on walks.
Andy is currently working on building his foundation skills, leash manners, recall, and exposure training with .kent.

Andy will be looking for an active family with a spacious, fenced-in property (he loves to run!) and can easily coexist as a second dog.
If you're ready for a loyal companion who will bring endless joy and excitement to your life, then Andy might be the perfect fit for you!

Nice check in from our Forever Foster Scooter..he is summering in MI. The cooler temperatures are so much better for his old heart. He is now 15 years 9 months old!

I wanted to share this story on life with a senior this age. We've all been through it..but keep in mind in this case it's for a forever foster..it takes a special person to take on a case like this one..a big hug and thank you to his foster mom Debbie giving Scooter the best life he can have at this time.


From his foster mom:
We arrived safely in MI last Tuesday and we are really happy to be here. It was a long four day road trip. Scooter was very anxious and I ended up having to give him Trazadone to settle him down. I gave him 50 mg twice a day and it kept him quiet. I also have started giving it to him at night because he no longer climbs the stairs to our bedroom and I can't have him pacing downstairs at night. He runs into things and gets stuck in places so it's better he is sedated and sleeping, and that also allows me to get a good nights sleep. The Trazadone works wonders. I only give it to him at night now that we are here as he is okay during the day. He is still taking short walks but very slowly. The cooler weather is a blessing both for him and for us. To make the trip more stressful, the LaQuinta Inns where we always stay now have a two dog limit so we were always shuffling dogs. I was walking Ziggy and Scooter separately which was a good thing for Scooter as Ziggy is always pulling and go go go. But here we are, safe and very happy.

Good morning from Triton..he is in day 3 post dental and fatty growth removal surgery. He is so very good on leash! He can't wait to run and swim again.

Triton had a spa morning at FBRHQ..he loved the attention to detail..he's just so handsome. Today Dr Laura's Mobile Animal Hospital is coming to meet him, and do presurgical exam, bloodwork,urine, fecal, etc.

Our foster Cali had a Meet and Greet Thursday evening..it went well. Rip sure enjoyed playing chase with Cali.

Our foster Jasper learning how to drop. Doesn't he look spectacular? Amazing what 7 weeks of TLC can do for a Brittany. To think this is the same dog found with a 3" in diameter cord around his neck! Its such a joy watching good dogs like Jasper heal from the traumas of their past . Enjoy the video.

Happy National Dog Day Nice check in from Gordie, he adopted 5 years ago into a great home. He has his handicaps now but he knows he is safe and loved. We have the most amazing adopters, Thank you Sue! From his owner: It’s been 1.5 years since I noticed a change in Gordie’s gait, and then he quickly lost the ability to fully use his rear legs. Since then he has stabilized at a “new normal” where he can get around but has trouble getting up, especially on tile floors. He does not have any pain and is a happy guy, especially on his morning walks in his wheels. Love the Brittany spirit and resilience of my little goober Gordie" ❤️

Flash back 1 year ago sweet Gunner arrived at FBRHQ..he was a stray that no one came looking for. Soon will be celebrating1 year in his wonderful forever home.
