We are a small and professional dog walking company based in the Wandsworth area of South West London, and we specialise in taking dogs for one hour walks every morning and lunchtime on Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park and also have a 5 acres Doggy Day Care centre on a beautiful farm in Surrey only 30 minutes from Wandsworth. We also have a large heated stable block and courtyard all fully fence

d in. Rated as Top 3 Dogwalker’s in London by ThreeBestRated 2021.

We cover all of Wandsworth Borough, Wandsworth Common, Clapham, Battersea, Earlsfield, Streatham, Tooting, Balham, Putney.

The company was started by The Dogfather in 2009 and enjoys success through regular word of mouth endorsements, which are based on our reputation. We treat each dog as if they were our own, and we make every effort to understand his or her needs, energy levels, regimes and behaviour. This way we can put your dog in the right pack to ensure they have as much fun as possible in a constructive environment. The Dogfather is legally licensed to professionally walk dogs on Wimbledon Common and Wandsworth Borough. We offer 100% flexible dog walking, doggy day care and dog boarding seven days a week with no minimum or maximum booking. The Dogfather also has a 'Country Retreat' in The Cotswolds where dogs can go for a holiday away from the City. The Dogfather carers are Canine First Aid trained and all carers are Disclosure checked.

We are very excited and look forward to seeing you at The Northcote Road Summer Festival ‘Fun’ Dog Show tomorrow afternoon. Sunday 14th July.
Registration from 12pm( … it’s free … no charge) . The show starts at 1:20 and we will be warming up with ‘musical mats’ (just like musical chairs but with dogs and mats’. This is when the fun starts …

There are over 50 stalls with delicious street food, arts and crafts , music and all Northcote Road shops , restaurants and bars will be open to welcome you on the day.

There will also be a massive screen to enjoy the Wimbledon men’s tennis final.

This will be a wonderful day out for everyone. Do pop over and say ‘Hello’

The Dogfather team will be running a ‘fun’ Dog Show at the St John’s Hill Festival - Clapham this Sunday. The festival will be celebrating all things Eurovision. The Dog Show will take place on Spencer Road 2pm -3:30pm. Look out for Batman and his Tumbler car. ABBA(Angels) will be performing after the dog show. Riverside Radio will be broadcasting live from the event. Do pop along and say ‘hello’ and join in if you are in the area.

In Loving Memory of Maxwell.

It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to Maxwell who passed away last week. Maxwell held a special place in our hearts as one of our earliest clients and he brought joy and laughter to all who walked him.

Maxwell was not just any dog;he was a true master in the art of picnic raiding and had an incredible nose…and even better eyesight. He could spot a picnic , someone enjoying a sandwhich on a bench , kids feeding ducks or a child’s buggy laden with snacks from over half a mile away. Once locked onto his target he would set off like an exocet missile on a raiding mission. We all loved his boundless energy and cheeky spirit.
Rest in peace Maxwell and we hope you are running free to find endless picnics and treats in the sunny skies.
