Fenway Belle

Fenway Belle Hi! My name is Fenway Belle! I'm a super sweet, active, playful puppy who just happens to have been diagnosed with cancer at 9 weeks old!

I live in upstate SC with my human parents and my Golden Retriever siblings, Buddy and Ginger. I was diagnosed at 9 weeks old with a mast cell tumor that turned out to be an aggressive high grade 2. I had the tumor removed at 11 weeks old and underwent 6 months of oral chemotherapy treatment. I was lucky and never really felt sick at all! I felt just like a normal, healthy puppy! Update: May 2017

-- I'm 2 years old now and not a trace of that yucky cancer! I still get checks every few months, and mommy and daddy are vigilant about checking any weird bumps I may have, but I'm in perfect health! I have a few quirks that mommy and daddy think are chemo related...like my need to have rocks in my mouth, and my smaller than normal head, but mommy says I'm a miracle pup!
