แดงเป็นสุนัขข้างถนนที่อาศัยอยู่ใกล้กับบิ๊กซีในจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ประเทศไทย เราเห็นภาพบน Facebook เพื่อขอความช่วยเหลือและตอบกลับ ดูเหมือนว่าแดงจะเป็นมะเร็ง TVT แต่เธอก็กลัวเกินกว่าจะยอมให้ใครแตะต้องเธอ เราจำเป็นต้องแยกมันเพื่อไม่ให้มันแพร่โรคนี้ไปยังสุนัขตัวอื่น ๆ และรักษามันด้วยเคมีบำบัด มะเร็ง TVT เป็นโรคที่รักษาได้สูง และสุนัขส่วนใหญ่ตอบสนองต่อยา ก่อนเข้ารับการบำบัด เธอต้องได้รับการตรวจหาพยาธิเม็ดเลือดและการติดเชื้อบริเวณเนื้องอกด้วย

Dang is a street dog living near Big C in Surat Thani, Thailand. We saw a photo on Facebook calling for help and responded. It looks like Dang has TVT cancer but she is too scared to allow anyone to touch her. We need to isolate her so that she does not transmit this disease to other dogs and treat her with chemotherapy. TVT cancer is a highly treatable disease and most dogs respond to the medication. Before undertaking the therapy she also needs to be treated for suspected blood parasites and infection of the tumour area.

If she responds well the cost will be 55,000 Baht for a 2 month period or 80,000 Baht if three months.

Any money left over will go to feeding stray dogs in the neighbourhood.

Help Dang the Thai Street Dog with TVT Cancer

This is Dang. Dang needs your help. She probably has TVT cancer which is curable, but will take about 2 months of medication. She is living on the street and is not taking all the correct medication. We are looking for somewhere to keep her, so she can be looked after properly. We need a garden with walls etc where the dog can be by herself and not come into contact with other dogs. If you can help please let us know. We are based near Big C.

Some of the 8 stray puppies we are feeding at night. Soi Dog Foundation have very kindly neutered these 4 month old pups. The mum is scared and does not venture out. The security on the land where they sleep blocks entry to feed the dogs, so they are fed across the street.
