A very sad update. Our darling little Gizmo has sadly passed over the rainbow bridge. He had fought the flu and was doing so much better but little kittens away from their mums too early have the odds against them. He was the sweetest little boy with a big personaility and he had a home lined up for him. The time we had him he was loved and cared for and had a full tummy. We will miss him and wish his life over the rainbow bridge is kinder to him than his life here has been. Urgent! 3 little babies found in a box outside one of our vets, we desperately need a nursing mumma cat or someone who can commit to feeding these little babies every 2 hours as well as stimulate the kitties to go to the toilet. We can show how to bottle feed etc but experience would be better. They are in JVC. Can anyone give these babies a chance? Oh Romeo, Previous Romeo. Romeo is a complex case, he has been in the park for a long time and whilst he will wrap around your legs he is a nervous chap, we noticed him looking unwell so managed to catch him and get him to the vets. Sadly he has tested positive for #fiv and #felv his wounds etc have healed but he can never be released back to the park because of his prognosis and the risk he poses to the other cats. He has spent the best part of the last 2 months at the vets or with temporary fosters. He needs an experienced, very patient foster or #furever home, someone that can give him time to settle and to slowly encourage him as he is showing signs of depression. He should be the only cat and would recommend no young children in the home. All of this make him a difficult cat to rehome but we know cats like him can flourish once they settle but it takes time and alot of love and understanding. When homed and cared for correctly he can live a long healthy life. He is a real underdog but everyone loves an underdog don’t they? His vet bills are also building. If you can help in any way please PM me. If we can’t home him at some point we will have to decide what is fair for him as living in a cage at the vets is not a long term solution and offers no quality of life. We don’t want to have to make that call, can you find it in your heart to love this boy and give him a second chance at life?
