Crispy Parmesan Asparagus Sticks 🧀🌱
Enjoy the perfect combination of crispy asparagus coated in Parmesan cheese for a delightful snack or side dish!

Ingredients:

- Fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
- All-purpose flour
- Eggs, beaten
- Panko breadcrumbs
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Garlic powder
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a shallow dish, place all-purpose flour.
3. In another shallow dish, place beaten eggs.
4. In a third shallow dish, mix together Panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
5. Dredge each asparagus spear in the flour, shaking off any excess.
6. Dip the floured asparagus spear into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
7. Roll the asparagus spear in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
8. Place the coated asparagus spear onto the prepared baking sheet.
9. Repeat the process with the remaining asparagus spears.
10. Lightly spray the coated asparagus spears with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
11. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and the coating is golden and crispy.
12. Remove from the oven and serve the crispy Parmesan asparagus sticks hot as a snack or side dish.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 10-12 minutes | Total Time: 25-27 minutes | Serves: 4

Got the word from the Vet on this, 1500 for amputation, 2500 for a plate, plus bandage changes, so probably 3 grand.

I guess we are back in full swing of things. Trying to raise funds for an awesome Newfie cross with a terrific temperament, that was hit by a car tonight, and left unattended.

Broke both bones in his left lower front leg, bone protruding, bleeding like all get out. Sat in the back of the vehicle with him, blood on both my legs, we were a great looking pair. Just not sure a pair of what! 🫣

Took him to Pulse, I have to say their attendance was fast and efficient. Called ahead that we were coming, and they met us with a trolley to bring him in. He decided to be independent and walk in on 3 legs. Now he is wrapped up from toe to body, poor guy.

Going for surgery tomorrow, either a plate or amputation. Absolutely opting for a plate or pin.

Don't think this will be a cheap undertaking, so if anyone wants to help with the cost of Surgery, it would be appreciated. I think the owner would have rather had him put down, couldn't do that! Dog is way too much of a Sweetheart.

Meet Duchess and Duke, siblings 3 1/2 month old.
Mom is a Mastiff/Black Lab, Dad a Great Dane!

Duchess has the Dane look, super soft blue/black coat, Duke's coat is a bit longer, he is the smaller of the too. Had their first shot, dewormed and going for their wellness check next week.
