Francisco's been quite the popular kitten. He had many great visits this weekend captured below. He seems to have two settings: crazy kitten running around everywhere and so sleepy kitten. In one short week he has learned how to change the channel, type on the computer, watch Netflix shows, scale his barricade and wake up his human. 💛😬

Fun times settling in with this little boy! Sleepy after all his running around yesterday. Loves to cuddle and to play. Francisco is off to a great start and I know Lisette is watching over us. Still miss her of course, always will, and believe she'd want me to pay the love forward. 💛💛❤️❤️

Incredibly thankful for the cards, flowers, prayers, kind words, memorial gifts and listening ears this past month. They have helped throughout the Lisette grieving process so much these last weeks.

Lisette Huminski earned her angel wings yesterday morning as she peacefully went to heaven at home surrounded by those who love her after a brave battle with cancer. Throughout her life until its end she enjoyed playing in her water, sleeping in warm cozy places, loving unconditionally and aggressively cuddling with her human. In her 14 1/2 years of life she has touched the heart of many most especially her Mama since they met in 2001 whom she is survived by. She will be loved and missed forever by her human whom she brought daily comfort, friendship, family, love and laughter to.

Lisette asks that the human animals look out for her Mama as she seemed really sad even while Lisette was peaceful. She also asks that everyone out there with a fur baby give them extra love today and every day in her honor. She is in heaven with those beloved who have gone before us in a place of no more suffering and an abundance of birds and sunny places. She will always be watching over us and live on in the heart of her human until we meet again. I love you Lisette and love is your legacy. ❤️❤️❤️

Received confirmation from the oncology vet today that the palliative chemo unfortunately didn't help her cancer. The last few days I've seen the signs and been trying to give her comfort, good food, and all the love in my heart and soul. She's home now purring next to me - anticipating a home vet visit to help her move to heaven within the week/days. Thank you all for your incredible love and support of us both. I am truly grateful. 💛🐾

Lisette's had a rocky week. Cuddles and recovery and sickness and trouble eating and back to the vet/Ed again. Hopefully she's coming home today and Wednesday I'm going to work with the doctor on a different plan if she makes it that long. Her nausea is getting in the way of her eating and causing all sorts of problems... My heart breaks all over again but as the vet tech said "it wouldn't hurt if you didn't love her that much". Asking for continued prayers and support for both of us.

Happy Feast of St. Francis! Grateful for the good news at Lisette's Er visit today. Lisette wasn't feeling too great this weekend after having a really good week. She just needed some supportive care and an antibiotic. I know the time will come but I'm grateful it wasn't this morning.

Lisette did great on Tuesday at her first appointment at Ocean State Veterinary Hospital Specialist Visit. The first photo is one from their waiting room.

While I was waiting for her I met a dog with CHF, three puppies, 2 rabbits and a turtle. She was a little sleepy last night but early this morning she was up drinking out of my water glass. 😉 so thankful

Today was a tough day for Lisette and for her Mama for various reasons but it's ending with warm cuddles and no tears. She is so beautiful and forgiving even when she's not feeling well.
