Harley and Ducati are making progress! Ducati is still being supplementally fed but has mastered latching on and suckling!
We are amazed at this little miracle- she is gaining strength and fighting hard. Mom, Harley, is recovering nicely from her c-section and mass removal surgeries and is very good mother.

Miracles do HAPPEN!
Do you remember Harley that we took in a week or so ago? She had two very large tumors actually hanging off of her. We were afraid they were cancerous, and they were.
They needed to do x-rays to see if it had metastasized. Thankfully it hadn't. The big surprise was Harley was pregnant! SHE IS NINE YEARS OLD!! 😱😲
Welcome to the world Ducati. This sweet pup was born via cesarean and Harley's cancerous tumors were removed. Baby was a little early but is doing great, so is mama. Rescue is wild!

Maggie has had a hard time finding a permanent home. She was originally given into our care after her owner moved out of state. She was later adopted but the other dogs in the household didn’t get along with her. Even with these rough beginnings, she has remained hopeful that this third time will be the charm! Maggie is a three-year-old Cane Corso who will be staying permanently with Nicole and John in CO. They have two children and a Shar-Pei, Lily. The family has been fostering Maggie and has decided that she has adopted them. Maggie is going to be a permanent member of their family where she will be able to enjoy the family's love and share her success story with other foster dogs coming into their home that need the same message of hope. Thank you for fostering and taking in sweet ole Maggie!

Luna Getting Her Meds
Our Fosters are AMAZING! When Luna, the SPECIAL NEEDS, SENIOR, 10 year old, fawn, female Cane Corso was seized as part of a cruelty case, her foster parents stepped up to make sure that she got everything she needed- including her meds!
