We are currently looking for guardians for seven (7) kittens. Five (5) were born on September 26, 2023, and two (2) were born on April 23, 2023.
In the group of younger kittens there are 2 orange and white, 1 calico, 1 black and white, and 1 black with brown tinge. In the older pair, there is one jet black, and one calico.
Their mom is a tortoise shell that was abandoned in our neighborhood and made her way to my back yard about a year ago. She was emaciated. Just skin on bone, drooling, and carrying an entourage of flies. I started feeding her, and day by day, week by week she regained her strength. However, she retained, and still cannot shake a respiratory infection. Neither the East Bay SPCA nor a vet that we took her to wants to spay her in this condition. Hence the kittens ...
