I swear. It's 100F (38C), probably hotter in the coop. Zelda laid an egg. Apparently Chickpea and Cashew both thought they should sit on it. Chickpea got there first, but that did not prevent Cashew from plopping her fluffy self right on top of Chickpea. Meanwhile, Zelda was out in the chickenyard panting.

Trying to figure out the best accommodations for Chibiko. The other girls in her flock have been picking on her pretty bad. She's been spending her days out in the tractor. I tried to introduce her to Cashew from the other flock but she pecked Cashew on the head. I think we're still going to try to integrate her into Cashew's flock.
