We are full.
Our dog population is at capacity.
We only have so many cages and kennels to house the dogs. Period.
There is no magic wand or easy solutions.
Animals keep pouring into the shelter. For whatever reason, surrender, stray, confiscate.
The daily intake at CACC is never-ending.
There are ways in which you, our dedicated supporters, can help.
Most importantly, adopt! Holy moly do we have some amazingly beautiful and precious dogs and cats and critters who need homes. Please come by to meet them.
If you can’t adopt, how about fostering?? It’s a catch phrase for a reason. Fostering saves lives. Literally. You can help save a life.
If you can’t foster, share, comment, tag. Let’s team up against the Facebook algorithm and get these furry faces flooding peoples’ newsfeeds!
If you are able to financially help, make pledges for the animals (a commitment to make a donation for the animal to whichever rescue pulls them).
ANYTHING you do, is appreciated more than words can say. Your support and encouragement means the world to us. Thank you.
And to our incredible volunteers. You guys are EVERYTHING. You bring joy and happiness and fun and comfort to the animals at CACC. YOU guys are the backbone of the shelter. You continue to amaze us, by your dedication and passion. It isn’t easy. Oh man, it isn’t easy, we know. You are some of the most awesome people on the planet. We are genuinely grateful to have you on our team. And we can never thank you enough.
**I was adopted on Aug 27, 2022!
This is Elona. Our longest term dog. She’s been here since the beginning of February. No dog should be here that long.**
