We will be back this year in front of The Rovervelt Pet Hotel & Spa for Christmas on SALA December 14th hosted by City of Westwego.
Starting at 2pm, we will be hosting a PAS fundraiser pop-up puppy boutique if your pup still needs something to wear for the parade at 3pm or any other upcoming holiday festivities!

📣We are excited to announce that we had to make last minute changes to our 🐕 🐕 🐕 lineup at PetFest today: Lilac and Destiny won't be there. Please send these two girls prayers and good wishes 🙏🏻🤞🏻...they went on a sleepover last night...to the same home. We are hoping to announce in the very near future that their new sofa assignments are permament.

Our story

Pet Adoption Services, Inc. (PAS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit all-breed animal rescue organization founded in 1996 serving the Greater New Orleans and surrounding areas. We support our local animal shelter, regional shelters, and pet owners by assisting in re-homing displaced pets to help avoid euthanasia based on space issues or rehabilitatable medical or behavioral conditions. While awaiting adoption, pets live in the homes of our foster parents where they receive veterinary care, training, and exposure to multiple environments and scenarios, allowing us to give as much information as possible to potential adoptive families to assist them in deciding on a match.

PAS seeks to advocate for the welfare of animals and enrich the human-animal bond through pet guardian and community education, including the promotion of spay/neuter of companion animals, provision of resources which contribute to owner retention, and reunion of pets with their people. PAS is 100% volunteer-based and receives no government funding, relying on the support of private donations and grants.
