We recommend a yearly physical exam and oral exam for all horses. Spring is a great time to update vaccinations because many preventable equine diseases are transmitted by mosquitos and ticks. Wellness visits for horses typically include:

Our veterinary hospital is seeking a candidate for a veterinary assistant position. We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic, hard-working, detail-oriented person who likes working with people and animals. The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of our general mixed animal practice including customer service and patient care. A good attitude and willingness to help other team members are critical to our practice culture.

Rotating Saturday morning and Thursday evenings are required and you must be able to lift 50 pounds.
