Our Story
All Around Dog Training is a dog training company to fit all your dog’s training needs: everything from basic obedience on and off leash, behavior modification, puppy classes/socialization, and Autism Assistance Dogs. Our goal here at All Around Dog Training is to enrich your life and your dog’s life so that your years together are full of fun and are enjoyable rather then having the stress of a dog that does not listen or likes to intrude in your personal space.
Samantha Gamez, the owner and trainer at All Around Dog Training, has been training dogs since 2008. She grew up in Stanfield, NC with many different animals. Her love and passion for dogs was discovered at a young age. She started training dogs at the age of 15 for Southeastern Guide Dogs. Her role in the guide dog puppy's life was to raise the puppy from the age of 9 weeks old to about 12-18 months of age including socializing, training, basic obedience, and good house manners. All while providing a safe and happy environment for the puppy before its return to the school in FL to finish its advanced harness training.
Samantha raised two guide dog puppies that successfully made it through the program and are now fully trained guide dogs making a difference and helping their owners through everyday life. After Samantha graduated high school she decided that she wanted to go into training dogs professionally. She found a dog training school in Harmony, NC and began her training. After she finished and graduated from her courses, the school/dog training facility hired her on to work for the company full time training Autism Assistance Dogs.
After working for the company for a few years, she moved back home near her family and began working for another company near Charlotte, NC training pet dogs in basic obedience and behavior modification. She is now working to build her own business training dogs in Charlotte, NC and the surrounding areas. Her passion for training dogs and changing lives continues to grow everyday. Her goal is to provide a safe and happy environment for pet dogs and Autism Assistance Dogs to learn.
