Help us celebrate National Veterinary Technician Week!

This week is dedicated to recognizing and supporting the valuable contributions that veterinary technicians and assistants make to the veterinary profession and our communities.

Veterinary Technicians and assistants are essential members of the veterinary healthcare team. They are on the frontlines, compassionately working with clients whose beloved animals need care. They work tirelessly in exam rooms, labs, and operating rooms, putting to work their vast technical and scientific knowledge treating and caring for every species of animal. Their broad skills – both professional and personal – allow veterinarians to work more efficiently and effectively. And they do it all with love and a smile, day after day.

September 11th will always be a day of heavy heart and memory. We honor the brave men, women and dogs who were there on that tragic day.

It's estimated that approximately 300 dogs were enlisted to take part in the search and rescue efforts at Ground Zero in the wake of 9/11.

On the 20th anniversary of September 11th, we remember those who died, those who served and those who must carry on.

We’d like to take a moment to honor the brave dogs who were there on that fateful day. Alongside the 10,0000 emergency rescue workers who courageously rushed to Ground Zero over 300 of those heroes were dogs. The last person to be pulled alive from the World Trade Center was found by a dog.

We want to honor those incredible Hero Dogs whose bravery changed the lives of countless people whether they were there to search and rescue or as therapy dogs- we will always remember their fearlessness.

We will never forget. 💔
