Hoarding Case
🚨Helping 40+ Cats—This Will Take Time & Resources‼️
We’re working to help an elderly man with 40+ cats, including terrified adults, mommas, and babies—just like the little ones in this video. Cases like this don’t get fixed overnight. It takes time, patience, and a lot of resources.
These rescues are VERY COSTLY, and with $30,000 in vet bills already, we are struggling to keep up. This is exactly why we are constantly fundraising and hosting events—because the need never stops.
Please consider donating or supporting our efforts. We can’t do this without you! ❤️

Henry - Fleas/Ear Mites Fleas/Ear Mites on Henry
PSA (This is lice)
Fleas, ear mites and lice may be tiny, but the damage they cause can be devastating if left untreated. Both parasites are common in stray, neglected, and hoarded animals, leading to severe discomfort, infections, and long-term health issues.
Fleas: More Than Just an Itch
Fleas aren’t just a nuisance—they can cause serious medical problems, especially in vulnerable animals.
-Severe Scratching & Skin Infections: Flea bites cause intense itching, leading to excessive scratching, open wounds, and secondary bacterial infections.
-Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD): Some animals are allergic to flea saliva, causing extreme skin irritation, hair loss, and painful sores.
-Anemia: In severe infestations, especially in kittens, puppies, and sick animals, fleas can drain enough blood to cause life-threatening anemia.
-Tapeworms: If an animal ingests fleas while grooming, they can become infected with tapeworms, leading to weight loss and digestive issues.
Ear Mites: The Unseen Agony
Ear mites are microscopic parasites that live inside an animal’s ear canal, feeding on skin debris and causing relentless itching. They’re highly contagious and commonly found in strays, hoarding situations, and overcrowded shelters.
-Constant Head Shaking & Scratching: Infested animals shake their heads and scratch their ears excessively, sometimes causing self-inflicted wounds.
-Black, Coffee-Ground-Like Discharge: A telltale sign of ear mites is dark, crusty debris in the ears, which is a mix of wax, blood, and mites.
-Ear Infections & Hearing Loss: If untreated, ear mites can lead to painful bacterial infections, swelling, and even permanent ear damage.
Lice: The Overlooked Parasite
Unlike fleas, lice don’t jump from host to host, but they cause just as much misery in neglected animals.
-Severe Itching & Hair Loss: Lice attach to the hair shafts, leading to constant scratching, bald patches, and irritated skin.
-Skin Infections: Excessive scratching can break
Liam the Lamb
Liam the Lamb: Professional Complainer
Somehow the fluffiest, warmest-coated animal in our rescue is also the biggest complainer about being outside. Liam hasn’t quite realized he’s, well… a sheep.
Liam came to us after being found hog-tied, intended for religious sacrifice—a heartbreaking situation caught on an officer’s bodycam. Now, he’s safe in our sanctuary, where he spends his days enjoying freedom, fresh air, and, apparently, developing a very strong opinion about outdoor recreation time.
Our sanctuary receives zero grant money (because, oddly enough, grants for farm animals only seem to exist for school/educational programs). Yet, our hay bill alone is a staggering $2,000 a month—and that doesn’t even include grain, medical care, or other supplies.
Please donate! Every bit helps keep our sanctuary running and our rescued animals safe, warm and happy.

DUMPED DOG IN SOILED DIAPER
DUMPED DOG IN A SOILED DIAPER
This sweet girl was brought to us as a “found” dog, but after some further digging, we have reason to believe her “finder” is actually her owner.
She arrived at the hospital with paralysis in her back legs, though she still has feeling. Our vet suspects a slipped disc, but we won’t know for sure without further diagnostics. She also has no control over her bladder or bowels, and the diaper she was wearing was so filthy and soaked in waste that it caused a painful infection around her rectum and vaginal area. While it appears prolapsed, thankfully, it is just severe swelling.
Right now, we don’t know what can be repaired or if she will ever be adoptable—but what we do know is that we’ve taken in yet another animal in need of urgent medical care, despite struggling to cover our existing vet bills. If you can help in any way, whether by donating, sharing, or simply sending good thoughts, we would be so grateful.

Our kitties at the Mew Haven Cat Cafe are bringing the laughs today with their playful antics—but behind every funny video is a story of resilience. Every cat here has a past, and it’s taken time, care, and resources to get them healthy and ready for adoption.
While these moments of joy are priceless, the cost of veterinary care, treatments, and rehabilitation is not. We continue to face challenges in covering the expenses for the many cats who needed help before finding their forever homes.
If you love these funny feline moments and want to help us continue giving cats like these a chance, please consider donating. Every little bit truly makes a difference. ❤️

Please keep the prayers and well wishes coming for Julius. Today’s vet visit consisted of bloodwork (we should have some results tomorrow), fluids, and a thorough exam.
Julius is an emaciated 5 1/2 lbs of skin and bones. One eye is completely gone. The other eye is damaged. He has severe infections in his mouth. He is a walking skeleton.
We need your help desperately.

Julius
Julius made it through the night, and while we’re incredibly relieved, we were bracing for the worst and are grateful that wasn’t the case. This sweet cat has already touched so many hearts. The law enforcement officer who found him called us in tears—an indication of just how dire his condition is.
Julius is little more than a skeleton, with a sunken face, and his recovery is far from certain. Though he ate this morning, there’s still a chance he could crash. He’s seeing the veterinarian today, and we’re hoping to get a clearer understanding of what we’re up against.
We’re overwhelmed with animals needing medical care—many of them with costly and urgent needs. Christmas may be just a week away, but the bills don’t stop, and the cases keep coming in. We know it’s a big ask, but we truly need your help. And remember, your donation is tax-deductible!

Dallas
OUR FOUNDER VISITED DALLAS IN ICU - WE NEED YOUR HELP‼️😭
Dallas remains in the ICU and, while stable for now, he is far from out of the woods. We still don’t have a clear diagnosis, but he’s being treated with antibiotics and other supportive measures as we work to understand what’s going on.
For those who don’t know Dallas, he is a young, loving cat—only 4-5 years old—who was rescued from a hoarding case years ago. He is truly the BEST cat, and his absence is already felt by the other cats here. Dallas has so much more life to live, and he absolutely deserves every chance at life-saving treatment.
As of yesterday, we’ve only raised $800 of the $4,500 needed for his care, and his bill continues to grow. We are begging for help—please donate and share if you’re able.We are so grateful for your support and to everyone who has donated so far. Dallas deserves this chance.
