It was a great day for Aoife at the MIDDLES*X BOXER CLUB'S SUMMER SPECIALTY (shepherded by the puppy whisperer Tuni Conti) ! It was a."major" kind of day!!
Aoife won Grand Sweepstakes under Judge Cheryl Robicheau and then was awarded Winners Bitch and Best of Winners under Judge John L. Anderson.
She now has both majors under her belt.

8 years ago, at this very same show, Tuni guided Aoife's Dad, Midleton, to a Specialty Winners Dog. We miss him so.... however, we definitely felt his presence today (especially with a couple of his offspring alongside Aoife in the ring.)

Charm stayed home because she knew the weather was such a crapshoot! Rainy, windy AND cold!
Aoife was quite the trooper handling the weather and the long hours. It was so cold that she wore her wool jacket most of the day – and she had to suffer through hanging around at the show site for almost 12 hours. ❄️ ❄️ ❄️

This girl is aging like fine wine @ just over 8.5 years old – she is smooth (in her gaiting), robust (in her attitude) and fruity (in her playful demeanor).

Hello Friend - This Boxer boy is looking for his forever home. He has been living with his current owners for the past 2 years. He is very rambunctious, and very much a boxer boy - loving and playful. The family is looking for a new home for him as they have a growing family and the energy and time needed for this boy is too much for them at this time. This has been a long drawn out decision - but, is right for all. Please don't pass judgment - please try to help find a wonderful new home for this boy. He turned 2 in January, he has been registered with the AKC and he has been neutered. Please PM me here at IRISH WHISPERS or at MAURA MCINTOSH if you are interested or have a lead that can help. He is not one of ours, and I do not know his breeder. As appropriate I will connect you to his owner for further information. Dog is located in Boston, but, we could probably find a way to get him to the right home somewhere else in New England.

Saturday March 2 at the Connecticut River Working Group Association show under Judge Vickie Allenbrand our SALGRAY N LEMKO'S RADIANCE OF IRISH WHISPERS aka Aoife (pronounced Eefuh, nickname "Li'l E") was awarded WINNERS BITCH, BEST OF WINNERS and BEST OF BREED OWNER HANDLED (over 5 specials) out of the BBE 6-12 MONTH class for a 3 point major. About 10 mins after ring time she was whisked into the OH Working group ... filled with 19 dogs (many with prestigious resumés) where she made the cut down to the final 7 dogs... pretty crazy for a 10 month old pup. Jessica Kozel so generously and beautifully guided Li'l E to these wins, as Maura is still recuperating. ** THANK YOU, JESS! ** (This was basically Aoife's 2nd day formally showing in the AKC regular show ring, too!)

Thank you MIDDLES*X BOXER CLUB and Judge Linda Krukar! At today's Specialty, GCH SALGRAY'S CELTIC CAOIMHE CA CGC won BEST VETERAN and won an AWARD OF MERIT!!! Thank you scribner for bringing Keeva in the breed ring for me. At almost 10.5 years old, she is still.a stubborn show girl. WOWZA! And nicely done GCH IRISH WHISPERS OF MURPHY'S ATT ... winning a nice BEST OF BREED OWNER HANDLED.... amongst stiff competition with dogs and ladies we adore. XO Murph-ster!!! Judge had lovely things to say about them both. (Because it was hard enough to manage 2 dogs at the show, Charm got to enjoy a day of rest.) Thanks for taking our pics Michele Pytko!
