Have you heard of the RSPCA Food Bank project?
In February 2022, we agreed to a donation of £159,846 over two years (£75,634 first year, £84,212 second year). The scheme uses food donated to the RSPCA (branches and centres) which the RSPCA can’t use; the RSPCA then distribute this to food banks. Funds will be used to recruit someone to manage the scheme and to purchase food required, as often the type of food donated doesn’t match up with the type of food required by the food banks.
