Hey everyone, we are enjoying our summer down south with lots of rest and relaxation getting ready for a big hunt season this coming fall! We are very busy trying to teach our little sisters and brothers, the “J’s”, how to walk out and behave like big dawgs!
We will have our next year‘s fixture card ready by mid June and hope you’ll plan to come and hunt with us somewhere next season!
If you make it down south, visit Nashville for a fun visit and come see us! We’d love to show you around and take you on a trail ride where we love to roll and play and swim in the summer!
Can’t wait for next hunt season!

We are so excited to be here and look forward to a wonderful week of hunting!

Would you please RSVP for dinners and Hunt/Hunt breakfast? We need final headcount to make sure we have accurate reservations at restaurants as well as adequate food for Hunt breakfasts! The hounds are on fire and had an amazing three days hunting at Cottonwwod.

What a trip we have had! Heading home from two amazing weeks of joint meets with Creek Hounds and ! The best hunting, amazing country and lots of love and laughter amongst old friends and new! Dear friends and family of Big Sky Hounds,

Happy Holidays to you and yours!

The weather in Montana has been exceptional and the traveling hounds are enjoying new adventures in warmer climates. Please plan to join us as we ride with Belle Meade, Low Country, Briar Creek, The Mell's, Juan Tomas, Casa Ladron, and Sierra Nevada, over the next few months and while we make our way back to Montana. Contact us to discover the opportunities to ride with Big Sky Hounds this season.

The hounds are on fire this season and you can be proud that the new additions are working with the old spectacularly. Additionally, we have a litter waiting for their chance to sport the award-winning Big Sky name. The most recent are the J's and we have 5 males and 4 females who will need naming! Please help support our pack and our dedication to preserving and continuing to develop Western hound hunting. All donations are tax deductible through our 501(c)3, Western States Hounds Foundation. Every bit helps and we sincerely appreciate your big-heartedness!

This year, as we work out our structure, you can ride along by capping only. If you have been a member in the past, your separate MFHA subscription will expire at the end of the year. If you’d like to continue to receive Covertside, invitations to MFHA events, receive news and support foxhunting in North America, please send your dues to MFHA by December 31st by visiting www.mfha.com or filling out the application found in the back of the Covertside Annual Hunt Roster. Please list BSH as your affiliated hunt.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you as we travel and then more of everyone as we make our way back to Montana for some amazing spring sport! BSH FIRST DAY! Tomorrow (9/19) is WELCOME DAY - NO CAPPING FEE

Hunting from Dead Cat Corner tomorrow morning. Mounted at 8:30. Stirrup cup prior. Please bring your signed release if you have it (If not, PM me and I'll attach it.) Tomorrow is a welcome day - no capping fee! For the remaining fall season, we are going be pay as you go with a $75 capping fee. Juniors and young professionals $50 per day. Attire is cowboy up! Come on out!
