Good Morning!
Nova's foster sisters are helping her settle in and relax a little more.
We are opening applications for Nova a little early so that her new family can come and visit her a couple of times to get to know her.
She is a super shy sweet girl with just a little sass, she shouts at her foster mama if dinner is too slow. She loves her den in her crate and she likes to follow her humans round and bump into their legs at sudden stops.
She'd like to live with another confident dog(s)
She would love a new family who will understand her and let her settle and shine in her own time.
Applications are via https://www.petadoptionwebsite.com/charity/sophies-dog-rescue
These little food covered faces were feeling very brave this morning and tried mastering the doorstep. Their mama is enjoying hiding from them and getting a little peace while playing with her foster sisters.
Puppies are roughly 3 weeks old. We have started letting them out from Puppy Corner for a little while every day to explore a variety of surfaces, textures and new items and smells. We also start teaching them to come when called and they are starting to really enjoy racing around the kitchen. Orion is nearly always the first puppy to run when called, Stella is usually shouting and little Lyra is a fiesty little madam and likes to bark and charge round the floor in wobbley little lines.
Nova has discovered a real love for squeezy cheese and this is her preferred choice of treat when training. She loves to follow her foster mama around and sometimes collides with the back of her legs if she stops suddenly
Quick update on our little family.
Everyone is much happier today and all the little ones are gaining weight. They have started to find their feet and their voices and are very funny to watch toddle around.
Mama is a little nervous still with humans but loves her grub and is so good with letting us help feed puppies and weigh them.
We really appreciated the donations, they will go towards things like wormer, food for mama, vet bed and puppy food

We LOVE that Meridas ears have a life of their own when we practice recalls. We had to slow it down to show them off.
This super snuggley little princess would like a home to be adored and spoilt rotten. She'd probably like to live with another dog as she loves her foster sisters. She loves running, playing and napping in equal measures.
She's a 12 week old lurcher girl.
