Sexy Rexy says he wants more treating and less tricking this Halloween! 🎃 #happyhalloween #tcdralum
😍 How is this handsome boy not adopted yet? 🥹 Grits is a beautiful dog! He’s a true Velcro pup who loves to be with his people. 🎾Grits is a medium-energy boy. He enjoys walks, fetch, and swimming adventures but is happy to snuggle and relax on quieter days. Grits is kennel trained, house trained, good on a leash, and knows basic commands like sit, down, and shake. 🐱 Grits gets along well with dog-savvy cats. He shows some interest in greeting and following cats but is gentle and respects their boundaries. He responds well to “no cats” for redirection. 🩵 Grits loves hanging out with his foster dog brother and has been around other dogs and does well with slow introductions. 🐾 We believe Grits would be great in a home with older children or no children. When very excited, he can sometimes forget his manners and jump. 🏡 Grits eats a special food that is available at most vet clinics or pet stores. We are happy to discuss this in more detail and offer assistance for dietary maintenance for the right home. ❤️ Grits is about 6 years old, weighs 36 pounds, and has a docked tail. He's neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. 🔗Click this link to learn more about adopting Grits 🔗 https://texascattledogrescue.com/adopt-from-tcdr
Ida Mae thanks everyone for helping her get rid of those pesky heartworms! After her second treatment, she was all smiles and tail wags as she left the hospital with her foster. 🫶❤️🐶
🤩 Fantastic Progress Alert!🚀
Kona is with The Texas Dogfather and is making incredible strides in socializing with other dogs, so much so that we have upgraded her to dog-friendly! She’s comfortable with low-energy dogs and has impressed the trainers, quickly becoming their favorite! Kona also comes with a unique gift for her future family: training transfer lessons to ensure a smooth introduction and transition if you currently have a dog.
🧸 This sweetheart loves her toys and carries them around everywhere with joy. She’s a big love in a tiny package, ready to bring happiness to your life.
🫶 Kona was previously adopted through TCDR, but sadly, her owner unexpectedly passed away. At TCDR, we promise to take our dogs back no matter what. We happily welcomed Kona back and are dedicated to finding her the perfect home again.
♥️ After losing her owner, Kona has shown remarkable resilience, keeping her heart open and ready to share love with her new family. She greets every new person with enthusiastic butt wiggles and cozy snuggles, making friends wherever she goes. Kona loves people of all ages and sizes and especially enjoys walks and adventures with her people. With all her good-girl manners, she’s an all-around great girl!
🥰 At almost 8 years young, Kona is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention. She’s ready to bring all her love and joy to a forever home. If you’re looking for a great heeler with all the smarts, loyalty, and affection, Kona would be the perfect addition to your life!
